Hi I'm not really sure if this is the right place to post this. I am only 10+3 but am already getting excited about choosing and buying things for baby I was wondering if anyone had ever used a Vennici Viva pram? From what I can see they are a fairly new company (started within the last 2 years I think) and you can only buy online or from their warehouse store in Doncaster (again I think) as this is no where near me I was wondering if anyone knew if they are any good. They are a very reasonable price at £299 all in (pram, pushchair, car seat, footmuff, rain cover, change bag) and am wondering if this is too good to be true. The other place they seem to sell a lot is eBay and looks like they have great feedback.

Any input would be appreciated

It looks good (just googled) but I personally wouldn't buy anything that's not well known, especially not the car seat but perhaps I'm just paranoid!

I totally get what your saying as that's how I feel, but it just looks good and seems to meet all the safety standards. The ones I've seen in mothercare and the like just don't do it for me lol. Other than the uppababy Vista and the Oyster but both are out of my price range really. I could stretch to them but feel it would be silly as there is other stuff to spend money on too.

I don't know anything about this brand but there is a prams and pushchairs topic where you may get more replies. If you go with a lesser-known brand online, I would just do some research in what safety regulations they should be meeting and whether they actually do meet them.

Have you seen the mothercare xpedior? It's quite new. I got the bugaboo bee but if I was on a budget that's the one I would have gone for

Also I'd never buy a pram without actually seeing it for myself first in person and trying to lift it, collapse it, push it around. Not sure if this is online only if you'd be able to do that

That's ok ananikifo Where do I find the prams and pushchairs topic? I looked in the reviews bit but again other than the uppababy vista didn't really like any of them

I have seen that one ladymia but I don't like that frame I seem to be being rather fussy!

I don't' get why so many of the frames these days look kinda 'space age' as I describe them.

Its very tempting as I 've checked the safety ratings/standards. Just want to be able to try it out first really. See how it feels to push and how easy it is to fold up.

Do the webisite you would be buying from have a good returns policy? If that's the case could you not always return it and get a full refund if you don't like it in person.

that's what i had to do when i recently purchased the Jane muum matrix travel system online, turned out i love it so will not be returning it but its good to know you have that option.

I've had a look and can't find a returns policy on their website so have contacted them to see. However on eBay there is a 14 day returns policy but if the item is not faulty you have to pay a 15% re-stocking fee and the return postage. Not keen on that so won't be ordering from there.

Just because something meets minimum saftey standards does not mean that it is a great product. I personally would not be happy with a car seat that was virtually being given away by a not well know company. It might meet the minumum standards but there are a lot safer seats on the market.
You'd be much better choosing when you can see the stuff in person.

I know, that's why I checked and it meets the most recent safety standards. I have also contacted them now and have been in formed I can return it if I am not happy with it. As i'm still only 10+ 4 I still have plenty of time to think about it and still look round the shops to see if I find something I love. They said that if they were selling this in the shops it would be well over £500.

Well if the quality is good I can believe it, they do look lovely. Guess I just need to think about it and see what else I can find before making my mind up. I just don't have the money to go and get something pricey like the latest bugaboo - not that I even like them lol.
