sex drive at an all time low @ 38weeks

Anyone else feeling this way? I just have no interest in sex at all.... I was totally the other way round when pregnant with my first but this time I probably stretch to once a week, sometimes once every 2 weeks..... my partner hasn't really said anything, he does seem to really enjoy it though when he does get some so maybe the waiting gives him more enjoyment, this is me trying to make myself feel better,lol....... do you think I am being selfish? Sometimes I think I am but other times I know that my partner understands that I just don't feel comfortable..... I actually feel like there is no room for him inside me, sorry for TMI!!! I have my ELCS a week today and I know that I am going to be "out of action" for a fair few weeks, 8 weeks if my last recovery is anything to go by so I guess I am starting to feel bad that I am not fulfilling my partners needs.... am I just being paranoid?

I didn't have sex for months around the time of my births. I wouldn't worry about it, if you don't fancy it you don't, your partner will just have to cope. Thems the breaks!

38 WEEKS?!

You're being paranoid and your DP has had a pretty good ride (no pun intended) until now - and even now in fact. It sounds like he realises the demands placed on your body.

Put your feet up and eat chocolate for the next week. Good luck!

I am due in two days. The last time I had sex was nine months ago! I probably won't do it for at least another three to six months. My poor deprived husband!

Bloody hell you are still having sex at all at 38 weeks- hardly low!!!!
Don't think I could be bothered for months before either of mine.

Wow, he's a lucky man! I lost my sex drive whilst suffering from horrendous sickness for the first five months and when I was feeling better, tried it twice but couldn't face it! I keep him satisfied in other ways though (tmi). I think you've done well and are lucky to have had a sex drive up until 38 weeks!! : ) X

Yikes. This is my 3rd baby (7th pregnancy) and I have only once in my life had sex after finding out I was pg. don't have esp high sex drive and neither does DH but its just not something we do!!!
