For the last 6 days ive literally done nothing other than lie with my knees up at my chest and tonight the pain has got worse and i dont know what to do for the best . Hi the fact u have had a scan and all is good is a good sign I have had pains and bleeding since about 6 weeks and am now 11 weeks and all is ok even though they have not been as bad as you have described have you spoken to your midwife? Can you normally deal with pain easily some people do have a low pain threshold but if you are concerned keep asking for help that is what gp and epu are there for hope you feel better soon x

I'm so sorry to hear what you are going through. Have you spoken to your GP?

I had severe tummy pain in early pregnancy and rushed to A&E a few times. At one stage I was put on morphine as the pain was so bad. They couldn't find a cause and it was put down my digestive system and hormones going complete haywire. It is awful when a diagnosis can't be found and they expect you to carry on as normal. My GPs just told me to keep taking pain killers, laxatives etc. I was even put on a completely plain diet for a couple of days but nothing helped. Eventually a consultant friend suggested I tried flaxseeds and that as well as days and weeks passing made things easier. Hang in there, it should get better after you've passed the 12-14 week mark. All the best! Smile
