I'm 19 weeks and all I want to do is pregnancy chat.
I'm sure ill bore ppl in rl so a pregnancy thread is the next best thing!

I know I'm only 19 weeks but I want to be at the end and meet the babies! (Twins)
I'm fed up of being uncomfortable all the time and I now have bump itchiness Confused

I want to know what they'll look like, be like. Smell like...

I'm also petrified of sleep deprivation. It's going to be hell!!

Ahh! Congratulations!

Twins - that is so exciting, and you'll reap the benefits when they hit 3 as they will entertain each other and be best friends.

Lots of oil on your bump if it is itching.
Do you know if they are boys/girls/one of each yet?

No, I don't! (Just) a DD - 4, but today was reading about twins and thought how utterly lovely to have them! (I have obviously got past the sleepless nights/baby bit and am on the joyful wonder of having a little girl!)

I used cocoa butter and it was great. I forget the name, it's the one everyone recommends for stretch marks/itchy skin. You get it in Boots.

Was it a massive surprise the twin aspect!? I wonder if they are identical - do you know? I find twins fascinating. I once had a boyfriend who was an identical twin. There is all sorts of identical - mirror twins, pure identical twins, I forget the other sort, then non-identical twins etc etc...

You must be so excited to find out!

I've been using Palmers cocoa butter once a day from bum to boobs and no stretch marks or dry skin yet! (37+3)

Am feeling the urge to talk too - DH's stepmum died last week and although I understand he needs to be with his family, I haven't seen him for longer than an hour in the past week :( I'm being super supportive and giving him space and baking him cookies but I am so lonely and hormones not helping... Spend most of my days crying on and off, feel so vulnerable but feel like I can't say anything!

So I will join you in discussing exciting baby stuff! I am also dreading the no sleep, however I have to say that this far along in pg I have hardly any sleep anyway! Am breathless and soooooo uncomfortable!!

Do you know if you're having boys or girls or both? :)

That's it phoenix Palmers cocoa butter - 'tis brilliant.

OP - use Palmers!

Sorry to hear about you being all by yourself phoenix and Dh's stepmum.
A new family, your family, to celebrate - very exciting! Flowers not surprised you feel vulnerable - it's normal. The most vulnerable time.

Good luck to you both Smile

I can't stop talking babies babies babies too!! Luckily for me I have a collegue at work who is 29 weeks (I'm 24 weeks) and a secret pregnant colleague who's about 8 weeks so have plenty of real lifers to indulge with... I dream about my beautiful baby constantly and work is shit and stressful he gives me a little kick and I remember that everything is just lush (pregnancy hormones are making me a bit gushy - I'm not sure I would have been saying this when I was puking twice a day everyday!!) Have you bought much baby stuff yet??
You will get to have two of everything!! Have you been watching one born every minute?

Calypso - my dd1 is 4 too lovely age helps me loads but can be quite gobby too! Is yours at school?
Twins were a huge shock, none in my family. They are non id have own sacs which I believe to be safer?
I had no idea there were do many twin classification thought they matched or didn't

Phoniox - awww I so understand what you mean. It IS a vulnerable time for you you need your nearest and dearest by your side at all times but a close death has to be felt with. You just come chat with me when you need some company Smile
How you feeling so close to dday?

Panda - thanks panda for invite. Feel a bit awkward as read the bad news but will try and become a regular once its ok.

Have just started to use palmers - love it!
But this evening feel so bloody itchy all over!!!

Bored of being tired and sore
Want my babies but also want to do normal stuff too like go for a run go for a drink in a pub past 8pm
I know I'm whining I just want to be at the end of pregnancy with babies on my arms born strong and healthy Smile

Yeah better thanks for asking. We had his dad over for dinner tonight, so I got to feel like I was actually being useful cooking etc. instead of feeling like a useless pregnant blimp!! My DH has fits of being moody and distant but is returning more and more to his usual happy self.

I am very keen to get started! I am hoping very much fur a water birth but know I will only get it if I'm not induced, so doing everything I can to help the process along... Plus I'd quite like my back to stop aching so much... Ooh, and to be able to sleep on my front again! Tee hee :)

Do you have names picked out for your little ones yet?

Hi Ladies,
how are you all?
Any signs yet phoenix? Have you gorged yourself on Pineapple?

I'm going for a carvery today, can't wait. Don't know about you all but I literally can't stop eating.
