Has anyone had morning sickness starting in the 2nd trimester?

Just what it says on the tin, really.

I'm 14 weeks and outside of a few wobbly days very early on I seem to have by and large dodged MS. Had been enjoying the boost in energy and not sleeping all the time the last few weeks but keep having queasiness coming and going. Quite bad today and wondering if MS can actually start as late as this?

No advise. I'm 12 weeks now and up until a few days ago I been feeling fine just slightly nauseous and tired, however, now I feel dreadful and vomited yesterday....weird!

In my first pregnancy I was fine by 16 weeks so I'm hoping for the same this time.

I am currently 20 weeks, mine didn't materialise in second trimester, more like never left... I was sick every single day in first trimester until about 14 weeks, then eased off a bit to once a week or so, now thankfully it's only every once in a while... I think it can start late in some people, or it could be some type of food that has started to dissagree with you? I have now worked out that anything fried will result in upchucking...

I had nausea from early on (week 5) however it didn't actually kick in with a bang until week 12 and it continued to week 20 at its worst (ended up with 2 months off work) and it was really week 21/22 until I started feeling better but still get the odd vomit/nauseas moment.

I think it can basically strike at any time, for some people it can come back later in pregnancy.

I feel your pain - hopefully it won't last for long and is just a blip!

Thanks for the replies, everyone. Currently knocking wood as I say I'm feeling much better today, so maybe was just something I ate. Am eating every few hours today, though, to keep whatever might be lurking to strike an empty stomach at bay. Since posting, I've read elsewhere that some women who dont have issues with early pregnancy hormone cocktail do have issues with later mixes, which include more relaxin, etc. I'm a real wimp when it comes to nausea and sickness so feel loads of sympathy for those of you who have been suffering for so long!
