Yesterday I felt green and pukey all day... today I am so hungry that I haven't stopped eating since I got in the car at 6:30am!

I've been good and had fruit (loads!), brown turkey and salad rolls, yogurt, cuppa soup, nuts and lots of water, but is it normal to having days when your stomach thinks your throat has been cut????!!!!

I'm 11+6 weeks and this is the first experience I've had of all day hunger... I'm normally really hungry when I wake up, but breakfast usually tides me over til lunchtime!

Totally normal, some days I have no appetite at all and other days I can not be filled no matter how much I eat. You've done well to eat so healthily, all I want on days like that are platefuls of carbs.

Don't do it you need your hands!
It's very normal. I'm having at least two breakfasts a day, one before I leave for work and one when I get there! Sounds like you are eating well. It takes a lot of energy building a baby, especially in the first trimester - I wouldn't worry, dig in!

Thanks everyone - Ms Blue, you'll be pleased to know that I resisted eating my hands, but don't think I stopped eating everything else in site until about 8pm that evening!

I'm starving all the time too! Have gained half a stone and I'm only 11 weeks! If I don't eat I feel nauseous and weak. Not used to eating so regularly but I guess it's your body's way of telling you you need more fuel. Admittedly I eat healthy food - fruit, seeds, nuts etc but it's the carbs that I can't resist!

To hell with it, curves are the forward anyway!

Yesterday was my first day of eating like a horse, just couldn't seem to fill up/satisfy. I too am trying my best to eat healthier but today have resorted back to a carbfest and feel much happier, have eaten normally at least (so far the day is still young!!)

I'm only 6+6 and suffering from this already! This week I've spent my days going from feeling like my stomach has shrivelled up to the size of a walnut to feeling as if I've not eaten for a week in less than 30 seconds, and it's proper, crippling hunger, it's utterly ridiculous. The last two days though I've been permanently hungry and nothing seems to fill me up at all. I've just sat at my desk putting in apple after dried apricot after banana after tangerine (asides from breakfast and lunch!) and eventually I give up and stuff in a family-sized bag of crisps on my way home. Ironically, there's nothing I actually WANT to eat. Bah!

I'm the same. I'm sure I read somewhere that carbs are good during pregnancy.
Hunger just seems to take over and all I can think about all day is food!
I started getting heartburn a couple of days ago so that's a shame as I can't feel quite so content after stuffing my face. I have also started to feel a bit uncomfortable by the end of the day as I'm so full/bloated. I'm only 13+4 and am so obviously pg (love my bump btw).
Bon apetite!

Perfectly normal! All I want to do is eat. At least you're eating healthily! I've just scoffed two choc puds and a pizza!

Now I've discovered pickled onion space raider crisps... and to be honest they beat everything else into a cocked hat!

apart from cheese and pickle sandwiches... or possibly ginger preserve on toast with cheese... or maybe cheese and crackers...

oh god, I needs to go and get some mature chedder... but it will have to wait until I've eaten this pack of space raiders...
