Had period like cramps this morning and some spotting- unusual!
Got a test just curious and BFP!
Only worry is I'm not due my period for 8 days yet, why is this showing so early?
It was a very very dark positive 3rd urine of the day! X

How heavy was your last period? If it was light it might have been implantation bleeding and not a full period? So you might be further on than you thought.

Was your period last month completely as normal? Perhaps a bit lighter than usual, or a few days late? I'm wondering if you might be further along than you think as lots of women have period like bleeds for the first couple of months of pregnancy. I would recommend doing one of the digital tests that gives approx number of weeks. They aren't 100% accurate, but it may clarify things.

sorry x-post!

Congratulations grin

Do a digital first response and get an idea of dates.

SummerRain Thu 22-Nov-12 19:02:39

I agree, you could well be a lot further on than you think.

lj123 Thu 22-Nov-12 19:14:48

Funny you guys should say that cos I didn't really have any clots but I thought that was because of my diet change due to pcos! It wasn't as heavy but probably someone's average lol I'm usually really heavy.
Maybe I should get a digital!

If I am I will be ecstatic!
After 3 mc, I'm only 22!
It would be life planning out how I wished
( 1 baby by the time I'm 25) smile

Congratulations darlin! Get yourself to the shops and get a digital with dates. And let us know how you get on. smile

Hi guys, had some small bleeding this morning, very small.
I got a clear blue digital ad it's saying 2-3 weeks
Which in terms of how the doctor says I'm around 4-5 weeks smile xx

lj123 Fri 23-Nov-12 11:29:40

Ahh thanks, I have fingers and toes crossed!
Knowing my luck ill probably be one of those people who bleed throughout!
Will let u guys know. X

weeblueberry Fri 23-Nov-12 11:32:14

Hey, my mum bled throughout with me and I turned out okay wink

hopeful92 Fri 23-Nov-12 12:25:22

Congratulations!! Some light spotting is normal, but get to docs if its concerning you, they can do bloods to check for hormone levels. My mum bled the whole way through her pregnancy with me, and my sister in law had some light bleeding at the start of her pregnancy with her 2nd (she had 1 mc inbetween so she thought the bleeding was another mc but it turned out just to be harmless spotting). Keep us posted and good luck x

Hey congrats! I had 'periods' for the first 3 months of my pregnancy, it isn't that unusual. Obviously any bleeding should be checked out, but fingers crossed for you.

2blessed Fri 23-Nov-12 14:22:57

Congratulations!

SummerRain Fri 23-Nov-12 15:10:07

Congrats grin

I know lots of women who've bled throughout pregnancy and very few of them had any complications so don't worry too much.

Update :
This afternoon I passed more blood, the colour was very strange it was red but very dark red, this is happening every time I go to the toilet and wipe.
Went to the doctors and explained everything, all he did was check my blood pressure twice which is fine and he has asked me to come back on Monday, probably because I broke down infront of him lol, I also broke down in McDonald's earlier today because my friend said she was emotional lol
All I can do is hope that it's because this bean is a sticky bean and wants to hang around. sad

lily06 Fri 23-Nov-12 17:57:04

You need to go to your closest hospital and get seen by the early pregnancy assessment unit. If your blood is dark like prune juice there is a small chance that your pregnancy is ectopic. Do you have any pain at all? Chances are everything is fine, but it doesn't sound as though your gp is taking you seriously. If you have any abdominal pain at all please just go straight to a and e.

Fingers crossed everything is ok and its just a bit of normal bleeding.

lj123 Fri 23-Nov-12 18:06:16

I have had mild cramping all day today sad
I'm not sure I can handle all this emotion over again,
The only thing the doctor did day was that if I continued to miscarry he would refer me but this sounds likely to be the 4th now !
Thats4babies, I really don't think doctors understand.

I agree with Lily06 about being seen re: the dark blood. Good luck & I hope it turns out well for you.
