Just been to see MW at 40+4 for a sweep and he said he couldn't do one as my cervix is posterior but when he was doing the internal he said he could feel that the babys head was really low (but also wouldn't confirm whether it was engaged).
He told me that he didn't think labour was imminent but also that things can change within a day (he's very non-commital as you can tell!)
So my question is, did any of you have this presentation (low head with posterior cervix) and how long after your midwife examined you did you go into labour (I know the internal won't set labour going but that would be the last reference you had that the baby / cervix was in that position)
9 days to induction....
