Dream genii, expensive but worth it, I'm still using mine as it's sooooo comfy & good as a breast feeding support.

i have a a teraline pillow from john lewis. it is pretty good.

I love my theraline one too, it is fab! Fairly pricey though, but I got one with postage included from express yourself mums. You can only get plain ones from there though, no patterns. I think that some of the other places do some nice patterns on the pillow...
worth every penny i thought.

I used normal pillows, but wouldn't have been able to sleep at all towards the end without our memory foam mattress (like the tempur ones, but ours was from Ikea)

I got a V-shaped pillow from Dunelm Mill & find it sooo comfy! Only £8 iirc & about £2 for a pillow case? :)

I hated hated my Dream genii. Stupid thing, couldn;t get comfy with the bit that went under you, was either joining DD in the vendetta against my ribs or bunching round my 'waist'. Bit between legs used to tangle as I tried to turn over and wasn't thick enough. Was expensive too.

Had better luck with DH's pillows.

Twas reasonably useful for bfing support for DD though.

My DH bought me a fairly solid wedge pillow from Babies R Us, it's been a godsend in the later months of pregnancy, I shove it under my bump when lying on my side, and it takes a lot of its weight!

i have a mothercare body pillow which is good - but when it got lost in the loft during pregnancy no. 2 i bought a £5 V-shaped pillow from Dunelm Mill and found it was just as good!

Hello Onadietcokebreak I've got the Argos body pillow and HATE it!! I thought it looked ok, and was a bargain compared to Dream Genii etc. The bit that goes between my knees when I sleep is now totally flattened and it's as if the pillow has broken in two inside - annoying!! It's also incredibly hot and I end up in a right strop in the middle of the night wrestling it out of bed and on to the floor. DH also hates it as it's so massive - it acts like an enormous sausage shaped partition between us in bed (not that I mind too much though !! I wish I'd bought the Dream Genii now....hope that helps?

wolfhound is the mothercare body pillow shaped or just one long pillow?

I'm looking for a long pillow, preferably not shaped because I never stay in one position to sleep so it would be annoying to be permanently in the same position....

I bought a v pillow from a department store £15. I thought £50 on a 'special' pillow expensive!! V pillow is doing well.

Thanks shoop shoop. Think Dream genni will be too big as Im only 5'2. I may try and wedge pillow as I need something to stop me turning onto front (am only 14wks)

I got my dream genii last week and i havent looked back
Have slept well every night since (though only been using for 4 nights so far)

Im only 22 weeks and i highly recommend it.

Got mine off ebay for £20... immacualte, but if you are worried can wash both the case and the pillow (which i will probably need to do lots once it is regularly used for feeding)

I had a triange wedge bump pillow from about 14 weeks and it was fine, but dream genii is so much better

I used to always sleep on my tummy with arm above my head, or back!!!

Not been able to do that for quite a while now.

until last week i had beenn going to sleep on LHS (with nump wedge under bump) but waking up on my back.
My dream genii does a much better job of keeping me on LHS, or at least "not quite" on back, so still roll towards being on my back but dont make it all the way

Nannyl- sounds like me. Im a tummy sleeper and been getting headaches due to position my neck is in as it causes compression and also twists pelvis

Cranial oestopath has been doing a great job on fixing me and headaches disappear for about a month but i can feel they are coming back again.

Very few ending on ebay today- tempted to just buy one on amazon!

I've got the Dream Genii and while it has worked for me, I wouldn't pay the extra for it again. I have absolutely no idea what the purpose of the back support bit is, it is way too small to offer any support and just makes it more awkward turning over. It's also doing that separating into two pillows between the legs thing. I'd just go for a long sausage shaped one.

Im still trying for find cheapest price as DP keeps saying its a lot of money for a pillow....maybe I should keep him awake with my tossing and turning tonight?

about 6 weeks ago they were going for £15 / £16 on ebay.... a couple of weeks ago most were going for £25, they seem to be about £21 ish at the moment. (all + p&p)

not found for less than £40 brand new (and i also didnt find any at NCT nearly new sales (2 so far) and i did look!)

I use E shape pillow ordered it from www.pregnancypillow.co.uk/ website and love it! It was on special, still is I think so got it for 39.95 including white cover and free shipping.

I can't do without my theraline pillow. I've lugged it about on trains and buses when I've been away for an overnight.

A search online yielded one for about £30/£35 with a cover. I've used it since about 8 weeks as I always used to sleep on my tummy but the bloat and achy hips made me stop soon and struggle to sleep soundly. Now I'm really used to it, have it between my knees and snuggled up to my boobs and bump, sometimes tuck it under bump a bit but I'm only 17 weeks so not a necessity yet. I only wake a few times in the night now and usually for only a minute or two while I nip to the loo or readjust the pillow.

Takes a bit of getting used to turning over with it but I now do this automatically and rarely end up on my back. Has relieved my hips considerably too.

I am very happy with the Dream Genii especially now as the nights are warm and I don't like having lots of pillows around me. I've had this pillow since about 20 weeks and I'm almost due now; it's still very comfy and useful. I like the back cushion as it stops me rolling to my right hand side and I'm looking forward to using it for breastfeeding.
