Could this be the start of a miscarriage?

Hello
I'm 7 weeks today. So far I have only had mild waves of nausea and have been sick a couple of times. Yesterday these symptoms completely vanished and today I don't feel any symptoms either. I haven't even felt overly tired. I'm worried as with my DD I had hyperemisis and was really ill throughout early pregnancy. Do you think this loss of symptoms is anything to worry about? I had 2 miscarriages last year so am prob being paraniod.

I have a scan on Thurs which I am now dreading in case it's bad news. I had a scan at 5 weeks and 4 days and everything appeared fine and I saw the heartbeat.

Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks

Don't worry, every pregnancy is different, so hyperemesis last time doesn't mean you will be ill this time. My symptoms seem to change every few days. I'm 12 weeks now, but have had the same worries as you when I've felt sick for a couple of days then they stopped for 3 days. They seem to have stopped more or less altogether now, but I'm not holding my breath. I had my scan, and everything is fine despite my worrying. I know how you feel, since I had a miscarriage in February, and didn't even have a period before getting pregnant again. I am reassuring myself that I miscarried at 7 weeks last time, so whatever happened then hasn't happened this time. What stage were your miscarriages? I guess all you can do is rest, try to relax and wait for your scan. Good luck x

Diddy didn't want to leave you hanging unanswered. I'm sorry for your previous losses.

I can really recommend the Freak out thread on the Conception board. Lots of lovely ladies who know exactly how you're feeling and will be able to answer all your queries, and provide lots of support/hand-holding (and the occasional fish-slap when needed).

You'd be made very welcome if you want to pop over, they've looked after me very well Grin

Thank you both. I'll head over to the Freak out thread.

My previous miscarriages (blighted ovums) were at 8 weeks and then 6 weeks. The first I had a MMC and the second happened naturally.

Thanks again

At 7 weeks with this pregnancy I had 4 days of dreadful nausea, I was vomiting every hour from the minute I woke up to the minute I went to bed. My symptoms then suddenly stopped on day 5 and I was very worried, booked a private scan and everything was fine - just lucky I guess!

this happened to me too with DD after a miscarriage, I was so paranoid, I'd been feeling sick then woke up one day feeling absolutely fine. That lasted for about 3 days and then the nausea was back. Someone told me what happens is that the hormone levels reach a certain peak making you feel sick then plateau for a few days and you get used to them and feel ok. Try not to worry - I know it's hard, I'm a worrier too.
