Anyone been given tubi-grip for lower back pain?

After being told by my GP to take paracetamol and soldier on, my midwife advised that I have some tubi-grip to help with my bum/lower back pain.

I was given some tubi-grip on Wednesday which I have worn on and off for a couple of days but I can't actually tell if it is doing me any good, soemtimes I feel worse.

Midwife said to give it a go and if it doesn't help to go back and be referred for physio and a customised support. I only have 10/12 weeks max left, do you think it would be worthwhile me starting physio??

I was given a tubi grip and it was fantastic for my back pain. You need to wear every day and give it time to work. I was in awful pain with my back. I was given the tubi grip at about 25 weeks and wore it right to the end. It was fab.

Yes but I found it uncomfortable. I also had another support belt from the physio which was better. Would definitely recommend the physio as it is likely to get worse as you get further along. You can take cocodamol too, though I would see the gp first.

Thank you for your responses, I will give it another go and see how I get on, not the best thing to be wearing in this heat :)
