Yuck and yikes and please help! What is wrong with my boobs?!

Clearly this comes with a tmi warning...am 36 wks and for about a fortnight now my nipples have been disgusting . Yellow and a bit, well, crusty, right in the middle, kind of like horrible dry skin?
I wondered if I could be leaking colostrum at this stage? I only stopped feeding toddler dd about a month ago if that has any relevance? And she is still quite a boob grabber. Am presuming it is pg related but didn't have this 1st time round!

Yep, it's colustrum :). Happened in all 4 of my pregnancies, just your boobs preparing for your new baby.

Nothing to panic about!

Phew thank you, was hoping it was that! I wonder if it is any indication of milk supply? Mine was v poor to start with last time, had to get domperidone prescribed etc, maybe this means things are gearing up a bit more effectively?

I've had this from about 20 wks, currently 31+5 & still getting it. Hoping it's a good sign of milk production? :)

I agree with you though Caz on the front!
