I am 13 + 1 and have already had 2 doses of anti biotics for water infections. Does continuous water infections harm the baby and can i keep taking antib's whilst pregnant? Or could it be an underlying reason why i keep getting them? Just finished another course of antibs but really dont think its helped. Still stinging when going to loo (sorry if tmi)

MM - I ended up with a total of 6 course of AntiB's during my last pregnancy.

One at 24wks resulted in a night in hospital as I thought I was having contractions! I got a really strong course of AntiB's for that one.

Anyway.... dd was fine apart from the fact the enamel on her teeth was yellow when they started coming in! I was horrified and the Dentist told me it could well have been the AB's. Its got alot better now. She's 15mths and you can't really notice it.

The only thing they say to prevent them is to drink plenty water.... and always empty your bladder completely every time you pee.
