hi all,
Any tips on where you can get the bugaboo cameleon for a good price, I like it, but it is sooo expensive! Considering second hand from ebay but also wondered whether there were any online stores that people know about that are worth a look?
thanks!

I don't think bugaboo do discounts at all; I bought mine from a local baby shop and whilst they did a 'bundle deal' it didn't work out much cheaper. I love mine though Blush

eBay sounds like a good option, you can pick ones up for half price in good nick.

I justified buying mine new because it's sturdy enough to be used for if I have more babies.

Try peppermint - they do really good deals if you buy a package from them. Its worth giving them a call to chat about deals.

I paid £300 (including all accessories) for a second hand one found in ads in my local paper. Check online local ads too, for those of us who are too lazy to sign up for Ebay and still do it the old fashioned way.Grin

Mine is still going strong nearly 3 years after I bought it (it had 2 years of use already)

Are you sure you need a Cameleon? We have one and do like it, but it's very big and we only really use it once a week now, when walking from our front door to the shops, and sling a Maclaren Quest in the boot of the car for the rest of the time. We're planning to get a Bee for DC2, which is much smaller.

(And we live in a semi-rural area where you'd think the Cameleon would be in its element.)

I would advise looking on eBay for a good second-hand one and then paying buggypitstop.co.uk to give it a once-over if it needs a clean or repairs, assuming you live in or near London.

we got a really good deal from formby prams but that was 2 years ago, they are on internet, im thinking of selling mine on ebay as expecting no 3, and i think im gonna need a phil n ted double, they are so lovely and easy to push, especially 1 handed round the shops, but the fact you always have to take the top part off to fold it up has always annoyed me, mines red fabric top and apron, dark brown base, red cosy toes, rain cover, brown sun parasol, maxi cosy adaptors, shopping basket thingy, in perfect condition, also have buggy board, message me if your interested!!

I think eBay is your best bet, too - BIL and SIL got their Cameleon there second hand for £300-400. And now they've given it to us absolutely free Grin!

Hi
I bought my Cameleon from John Lewis in their clearance sale last May/June... we got a really good deal. It's a fantastic pram, I love it.

try pramworld - they have good deals. you wont find much variation in price on the pram across shops but will get extras eg i got free maxi cosi carseat. john lewis were nowhere near as competitive. customer service at pramworld is excellent, good stock levels and delivered within 3 days.
