When to start putting on weight?

I was overweight before getting pregnant and had PCOS, so of course the usual weight issues etc. I'm now 17 weeks and STILL haven't put on any weight at all.

I feel good and healthy so am assuming it's just the baby sucking up fat from elsewhere but...

I have a midwife appointment on Monday so will also talk to her then.

I'm 20 weeks and also overweight. I lost weight in the first trimester and am yet to put any weight on or develop a bump. I think perhaps I HAVE put some weight on but it's hidden in the weight loss, if you see what I mean? That is, I'm not entirely sure when weight gain started, and whether I would have lost more weight from the not eating if weight wasn't going on from the baby.

I think I've confused myself now!

My doctor said not to worry about not gaining weight too quickly -- it will all catch up with you, and a baby is like a parasite who will take whatever he/she needs... I am 19 weeks and put on 5 pounds so far. My pre-prego BMI was 17 (not overweight). I had no morning sickness and have been eating healthy all along. I read in a book that the weight gain will accelerate further in the 2nd-3rd trimesters naturally.
