I had my coil out on the 2nd Nov and took a test this morning, after AF was 2 days late. Shiver me timbers it was positive!! We are both mid 30's so I was expecting it to take a while. My dd is 7 and I have only just been brave enough to try(wasn't very good at childbirth)..hadn't expected it to be this quick! no need to reply but needed to write it down.

Oooooh congrats - how exciting!! It's strange when it happens so quick, almost before you've got your head round it. We fell pg the first time of trying this time and it was quite a shock. Just about getting used to it now I'm 26 weeks!! Hope you don't feel too rough in the next few weeks!

thanks strangeways...what age are you? I had got myself in a state as I have just turned 36 and was feling its now or never expecting to take a while..wham bam off we go.I know how lucky I am , I frequented the conception boards for a week or so and there are many on there that have been trying for years. We got pregnant with my daughter using the withdrawel method so I guesed we had fairly compatible genes but 3 weeks..woah!!

Congratulations! How exciting for you :) I know what you mean about being surprised. We weren't even 'trying' DH didn't really want any more but we sort of, um, got carried away a few times. When I say a few it was actually only three occasions. I was very surprised, and thrilled. DH took a little while to come to terms with the idea of being a family of five but now he's really happy :o

Hope you have a happy, healthy pregnancy!

bish I'm 35 so thought it would take longer this time. I was 30 when I fell pg with dd2 so assumed I wouldnt be as fertile this time!

OWO I was thinking about you the other day and lost your other thread. Hope you havent got too much longer to wait!
