That is the only way I can describe the way I feel. My tummy gets painful throughout the day. My bump is always solid and gets very uncomfortable. I am 27 weeks pg. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or has any advice on what I can do to ease the pain? When dd turns over it is quite painful as the there isn't enough room for her.

My skin is very tight despite the fact I rub loads of moisturiser in daily. When I had Ds who is now 4 I put lots of weight on but haven't this time (still put plenty on just not as much as last time) I wondered if this may have something to do with it?

Sorry for epic post but thought i would pick the brains of.the lovely mn ladies before I mither my midwife Smile
TIA

Are you using normal moisturiser or something oil based? I use solid Palmers cocoa butter, Bio oil & Johnsons Baby oil gel (not all together) 2-3 times per day & it helps. I rub the Bio oil in then put a coating of the thicker cocoa butter or baby oil gel on top. Good luck!

I put baby oil on after a shower then cocoa butter on afterwards.

It feels more like an internal thing than external tbh but will continue to coat on the creams.

Thank you for the response.

I know how you feel. I'm 29 weeks (but currently measuring 35 Shock I feel like everything is just so tight. Baby seems to be constantly pressing against my right side and I have some tender, bruised patches. I remember feeling like this with DD and unfortunately I think it is only going to get worse!

Sounds like Braxton Hicks (or at least my BH felt like that). moisturising, I loved Mamma Mio Tummy Rub Butter, was nice, but didn't actually do anything!

OMG marrow! I can't imagine how you must be feeling. I don't feel too bad this morning. But as soon as I start doing anything remotely strenuous it starts to hurt Sad

Sounds like its just one of those things then, and its a case of just put up and shut up I guess.

Regarding the bh. I don't think it is. I had those with ds and they were much later in the pg. Also they were something that came and went in minutes rather than lasting a week. I almost wish of was bh!
