I have just the one on the way.. but I just wanted to say I really envy people with lots of children :) DP already has two and he's mid 40's so we're unlikely to be able to crack out the 4/5 I'd like.

But if I include my 2 SS's then I guess we're already on no3!

Number 6 on the way Smile
I have 3 girls and all being well will have 3 boys too in 6 weeks time. Our 5 are really looking forward to their baby brothers arrival,as are we. He will be our last, can't wait to meet him, feel very lucky.

4 here. I am still undecided as to whether I want to stop now or not. My children often ask when they are going to have another brother or sister.

booyhoo I found myself single with 4 children, one severly disabled and one who has autism. Never thought i'd meet (and didn't really want to meet sanyone else anyway) never mind have any more children. I did meet someone though, got married and had another daughter ! and have son on the way. So you never know i guess Smile

aww, violet, it would be nice to think it can work out like that but i am telling myself it wont (not that i am happy to do that)so i won't be disappointed when i get to 60 and realise i still only have two.

also in awe at juule, would love to see a day in the life of. it really does intrigue me. i remember my gran (who also had 9) telling me she used to get teh youngest 3 washed and dressed in the morning and then tie each one of them onto a chair so she could get washed herself to go out for the day Shock

zipzap456 i'm enjoying this thread, i don't know anyone in RL with more than 3 children so it's nice reading that theres a few people on here who have a few more.

I am loving reading your replies, its so nice to hear from people who have or want large families. I have 4, (3 girls and 1 boy) and my partner want another. I get a lot of criticism from my family for having 4 (even though i also work full time), They are all very career minded & have 2 max. I want another too but other peoples attitudes worry me a bit. Thank you everyone for your replies :)

I'm expecting no 4 (24 weeks). Ds1 is 7, ds2 is 5, dd1 is 1. Am very excited, but this will prob be our last as dh only really wanted 2. Brill powers of persuasion!

Went to the dentist today and when he asked if I was ok half way through nasty filling I replied "oh I'm fine I'm enjoying the rest!" he laughed!

Love the chaos of it all! (ds1 has downs syndrome and is quite a big character so we make an entrance were ever we go!)
