High anxiety levels???

Just wondering if anyone else has felt more anxious than usual while pregnant. About they baby - yes obviously!! :)

But what about things like work? My job hs a reasonably high level of pressure which I have always been fine with, but being pregnant with insane meglomaniac boss (who has thankfully been given the shove!) has turned me into a wreck!!

I find myself more stressed about events at work, fretting more about upcoming meetings etc. In fact I feel anxious just typing this - aaarrghhh!!

Anyone else out there like me? Or have I just turned into a basket case??

Me too! I'm not usually an anxious person, but have been constantly anxious since the beginning of pregnancy (26 weeks now). Nothing specific, just a constant nagging anxiety about nothing/anything, and a slightly lower mood than usual. And I have found work much harder to cope with too. Physically I feel fine, I wish I could feel emotionally back to normal too. I really really hope I do when the baby comes.

Glad to hear I am not alone!! Just moved my end date at work forward a week. Feel much better now...

It's the little things that help!!

I've been more anxious about everything while pregnant too. I have always been an anxious person but started getting social anxiety once pregnant. I have tried to meditate and do things like Yoga but I'm pretty lazy and haven't been consistent with any of it.

I'm really hoping that it is just hormones and the fear of the unknown that is throwing me off balance.

In the last few days (27 weeks) I suddenly feel like I might have hit 3rd trimester. Bump has popped, ribs have spread, more achey, suddenly much more tired...but also much less anxious. Horay! Do you think I'm right? Or is it a co-incidence/temporary reprieve?

I had a conversation with my DH not two hours ago about my increased level of anxiety. It's a nagging feeling of something not right that i can't quite pinpoint about virtually everything.
You are not alone!
