hi sorry I feel like ive been asking loads of questions, but please bare with me this is all new :)
Had a sweep on tuesday at 37+2, have been experiencing tightenings and backache since then, yesterday had lots of a show, seriously didnt think there would be that much (bleeuuurrgghhh)now I have woke up this morning, still having the same type of stuff, thick snot like, but now its tinged pink, I know this is normal, but if it suddenly turns pink/blood stained does this mean labour is close?

Sounds like things are moving if the show is bloody now

Good luck but it can still take hours if not days in some cases for labour to become established

Ta Rubyslippers, fingers crossed for the hours not days lol, this is so frustrating, like waiting for christmas or something.

Crazyh just wanted to wish you luck and hope baby arrives soon :) just wanted to ask how you went about getting a sweep at 37+2? I'm 37+4 and having loads of problems at the moment. I'm on another thread where I've had a good old moan :) (3 wks to go and discomfort) x

Hey watersprite, yep know exactly how your feeling im so uncomfortable all the time, and knackered do to lack of sleep, tightenings keeping me up etc :(. I didnt actually ask for a sweep or anything, my baby has been measuring very small, so consultant has recommended inducing me early as she will grow better outside, fatten her up so to speak. Hope things will happen for you soon. :)
