Stabbing pains in nipples!

Aarrgghh! Does anyone get this? I'm sitting at my desk in agony from a shooting pain in my right nipple that's been coming and going for about an hour now.

Keep on having push my boob against the edge of the the desk or to go to the loo to squeeze it! My colleagues must think I've gone mad.

Is this normal? I'm 15 weeks pg, and starting to consider some sort of light s&m punishment to make it stop hurting... clamps anyone?!

I have had this with every pg. It is horrendously painful so you have my sympathy.

The only thing I have found that helps is to keep them warm. If the temp goes below 17 I know that they will hurt.

I am pg at the moment and it is definitely the worst part of it for me.

I have been known to put heat pads in bra to help!

Thank you, so good to hear I'm not alone! (Though not pleased that it seems this may not be a one off...)

Heat pads in bra sound lovely, perhaps something to do once I get home. Will just put my cardigan and scarf on for now and see if that helps!

Yes, not been a one off for me, sorry!

Meant to say 'on' bra, not 'in' bra. I stick them to the outside so they are not directly touching the skin. It is a very attractive look Grin

Yep, I get this and as BuckBuckMcFate said, warmth can help.

Yep I get this (am 40+8 now and have had it on and off all the way through),.... I describe mine like someone is poking a barbecue skewer into the nipple and twisting it. Really very unpleasant :) I haven't been able to find much to help it but you have my sympathy!!

Nooo, 25 more weeks of this?! Not good news. Shock

I've been to Boots and bought some of those heat patches. They are actually the ones that can go straight onto the skin, but think I will put it over my bra anyway as advised by BuckBuck... (winces at the thought of having to peel it off nipple afterwards... yowwwwww!!)

It has been on and off I must stress, perhaps once a week on average so not a constant problem for me. Hopefully the heat pads will help you x
