Where can I get comfortable maternity jeans??

I need to find a comfortable pair of maternity jeans and was wondering if anyone could reccomend a brand? I have 2 pairs - one is comfortable over the bump ones from H&M but they're quite skinny and long so only good for going out at night, the other pair is from New Look and are boyfriend style under the bump, and although comfy when standing, awful when sitting- the band digs in to my belly so much I can't stand it! So I need to find an everyday pair.

anyone found a super comfy pair?

Gap are my faves - I have an under-bump pair and two over-the-bumps and all three are really comfy and actually quite flattering. A lot of people like Next but I found they just fell down all the time on me.

I got Mothercare over-bump ones - mine are petite as I'm a shortarse, but they come in "normal" length too :) - and I live in them. Only had under-bump ones when I was pregnant with DD, don't know how I coped! Love my over-bump ones now :-)

I love my Mamas & Papas under the bump jeans. Very comfy and narrow-ish legs without being skinny.

blooming marvellous had a sale on a while ago and I went crazy buying things....I tried under bump ones which was a mistake for me as I can't keep them up but the overbump ones are lush! also red herring at debenhams did a good pair for my last pregnancy last year and I'm still wearing them

Mine are from redherring debenhams. They weren't expensive either, got one pair in the sale but they were about £25-£35 each. They are SO comfy, and look like a good pair of normal jeans, they are over the bump! I keep saying I will never wear normal jeans again!

thanks for your suggestions. I love Gap but think the only maternity sections are in London is that right? Also redherring maternity- is that only online?

will try a few of these suggestions -cheers!

I bought one pair - they are queen mum and over the bump, they were expensive (£70) but they are comfortable and hard wearing and I lived in them. Can be bought online and independent maternity wear shops I think.

Very surprisingly, Peacocks has been my saviour for mat jeans! £16 and they feel like Im wearing jogging bottoms!

They do a few pairs, i just went for bootleg navy, but I think they have other styles and colours?

I got a nice comfortable pair from Dorothy Perkins. They are under bump but have little cotton band at the top, you kind of pull them on, there dont have a zip or button.

They are bootleg and dark blue, £25. Money well spent.

I'm only 10 weeks and in them already, eeekkk {shock} but at least I can sit down in them!

Mine were in store, they are in the redherring section rather than in a set maternity section! As far as I could tell redherring are the only maternity clothes debenhams do, certainly in the shops I've been in anyway!

I got some lovely v comfy overbump ones at Next. Nice casual relaxed denim, again no zip or button, nice 'sloppy casual' cut (by that I mean kinda boot cut shape, but not tight around thighs, just wider at the bottom), I just love them!

thanks for your help! My debenhams only do red herring maternity online and they were out of my size :-( but managed to get a pair of over the bump ones from Next and although I have to pull them up a bit (bump isn't quite big enough yet) they are comfy and will be great for everyday use- yay!

I got some skinny under-bump ones from topshop, the type with the adjustable elastic sides. They're really comfy, come in different leg lengths and were worth the £40 as I wear them 3-4 times per week and have done for about 20 weeks!
But I happened to buy a pair in pumkin patch in the sale, they're the type with an elastic panel going all the way round, more under than over the bump. They are definitely the most comfy ones but are cropped so can't wear them all the time.
I bought some over the bump ones which I hate because the over bump bit doesn't stay up.
Next time I'd get some from topshop in the shortest length but with the elastic panel thing.
