Oh my God WIND!

I have had so much wind for the last few days it's unbelievable. I'm only 5 weeks and I spent most of last night awake with gas burbling aroun in my gut. Everytime I rolled over more of it 'escaped'.

I can't stop farting a burping.

Please tell me I'm not the only one!!

Don't worry, you're not the only one! I'm nearly 17 weeks now, and my burping is so regular that I actually can't remember not burping this much.

What I'm now discovering the joys of is trapped wind. It is actually quite painful and I find myself trying to fart, no matter where I am, just to get it out!

Oh the glamour of it all.

I had dreadful wind early on too, never known anything like it!! Has eased off slightly now

For me it wasn't a problem during my first pregnancy (dd), but with the second (ds) it was embarrasing!! It went on for the whole 9 months and beyond!. Ds seems to be a very windy (farty) baby now, so I blame him

Me too - am only 5+5, but had so much wind on Sunday/Monday, it looked like I had 6wks to go, not 36
Monday pm - fart city, hubby not impressed! I remember with DS in the last couple of months I was reeking - was very funny in a childish way though
