My little lad 3 and a half has been dry for about 4 months now with only a couple of slip ups! He now says he doesnt want a nappy (pull ups) at night, I have heard positives and negatives for waking him up and putting him on the toliet say when I go off to bed. so do I or dont I? he is just a good boy at night I am a little worried it wil disturb he routine, he goes to bed at 7 and gets up between 7 and 7.30 he does take a glass (plastic) of water to bed

I would let him wake himself up, that's what my 2 DS did.

but you will have to sleep fairly lightly, and as soon as you hear them stir go in and take them to the toilet.

My two both got rid of night nappies about a month after day nappies (at 2.1).

We trusted their instincts but also did change quite a lot of sheets for the first month or so (you can put a towel down to minimise it or to avoid changing all the bedding in the night).

good luck

I woke both my dc up at my bedtime for a night wee for a good few months if not more after they were dry in the day. It is NOT recommended by any health professional I have heard of but it worked for us. People say that it just encourages them to wee in their sleep (because they really don't actually even wake up). However, after a few months I stopped doing it and have never had a wet night since. I may just be lucky?! Good luck
