Hi all, without trying to drip feed, my DS is 4.5 and was potty trained at age 3, very rare accidents until the day he had his mmr booster at 3.5 and since then (every day for past year) he has at least 1 accident a day, not normally a full wee but enough to need a change in trousers. He starts school next week and we are still awaiting a referral to a specialist. I am thinking of getting him some potty training pants like these Bots Washable Potty Training Pants 4pk Extra Large with PUL Lining - Boy (approx 2-3yr) www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B001JD4QH0/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_5KI2vbRSGN5BH?tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21 but they only seem to go to age 3. Does anyone know if they're likely to fit my 4.5yo before I shell out for them (or have any other ideas?!). I'm hoping they look "normal" enough to not be noticed by the other kids. Up to now we've been using normal underpants but it can't continue when he's at school.

you can get pads to put in normal pants, think they are called dry like me or something like that. are you familiar with the ERIC website, the info on there is great and the pages for children can be great for enabling them to take charge of their own toileting and thinking about how best to help themselves.

Mothercare do some really good ones in a large size or 3+ that might be big enough, at least you'll be able to go in store and look at them.
Sorry I don't know how to link .

I haven't looked at the ERIC website either, will take a look. I just don't want him to look different from the others
