3.5yo night time regression after months of dryness

My 3.5yo DD was relatively easy to potty train around a year ago and has been dry at night for over 6 months now. Just in the last few weeks she has begun wetting the bed at night, and after a week of this we started lifting her when we went to bed, which did the trick even though I was uneasy about doing it.

In the last couple of nights she has started wetting in the morning before we get up, even after lifting, (she never gets up by herself, ever) and we reached a new low last night when she was wet when I went to lift her at midnight and again by 6.45am.

She doesn't seem to wake up or to be particularly distressed and I don't want to make it into a big deal but feel we need to do something now before this becomes a habit.

I'm sure I've brought this on myself with the lifting but would really appreciate some advice as to how best to nip it in the bud. Do we go cold turkey and stop lifting her altogether? I don't want to put her back into pull-ups at this stage as feel that would be a huge step backwards.

Sorry no advise as I'm in a similar situation but watching hopefully to learn the best way to deal with it.

I have a cautiously optimistic update, pulledapart - sat DD down last night and told her I wouldn't be getting her up for a wee in the night time because I thought that was why she was getting the bed wet, because she was getting used to weeing in her sleep. I made a point of saying it's Mummy's fault not yours, and that if she had a dry night I would give her a piece of pasta in her (empty jam) jar and when her jar is full she will get a present.

She was very excited about this and lo and behold, this morning she was completely dry. Obviously this is only one night but I am encouraged! Expecting to have relapses over the next few nights but fingers crossed it helps her get back into her old routine.

FWIW I am really surprised it worked on night 1, hope I am not getting too hopeful too soon!
