Best potty training approach to take - advice please?

DS is 2.6 and is, in my opinion, ready to train.

I am going to start on Friday and was hoping for some advice on how best to approach it?

DS knows that big boys wear 'Grundies' - pants to you and I!
He frequently says to me "Mummy, theres a wee coming out" and the same with a poo.
We have had some wee's on both the potty and the toilet in the past 6 months, purely by chance and timing.

He will be with me from Friday to Monday. Tuesday he will be back at nursery for 3 full days.

Any advice is appreciated as I've never done this before!
