I was so proud of DD (27/12). Day 12 in knickers and first day at nursery since we took the nappies off. No accidents at all since day 2 and today managed a nap at nursery in pants and woke up dry (I've been putting her in a nappy for naps at home). After request no 7 in 20 minutes to "go to toilet I need a poo mummy" with no result silly old mummy suggested she wait a minute. Cue enormous elephant turd in pants. Cleaned up. 10 mins later "I need a poo" typically I'd reached the crucial point of cooking dinner and thinking she'd just done the biggest poo I'd ever seen she couldn't possibly need to go again, "just wait a minute darling" I foolishly instructed her. Oh yes, another elephant shit in another pair of pants. Grrr. Great levellers these toddlers!
