Potty training

Getting really frustrated!

DS is almost 3. He's been sort-of potty trained for ages, in that he knows to go in the loo and hasn't had an accident for ages as long as he's naked (which he quite often is as we live in a hot place). The problem is, whenever I put him into pants or pull-ups, he invariably goes in them, even though I make a point of telling him that he needs to take them off to go and ask him often if he needs to go to the loo.

Please does anyone have any advice for me? I am so stuck!

i wouldnt use pull ups anymore, just keep pants on him, he will soon realise that it's not a nice feeling having wet pants,

we practiced pulling pants up and down, seemed to work for us

hope this helps :)

Thanks - I am going to try and stay at home for a couple of days next week with pants on all the time.

I feel like I shot myself in the foot BIG TIME by ever using pull-ups . I'm steering well clear next time!

I've tried getting him to practice pulling pants on and off, but he looks at me like I'm an idiot, then takes them off and refuses to put them back on.

Battle will commence!
