Exercise after cesarian - is this normal?

I had a planned cesarian 11 weeks ago, no complications but I developed a haematoma above the scare (basically some internal swelling) approx 3 wks after. My midwife diagnosed this and said its very normal and it will go by itself. It does go but seems to come back on and off. So far I've done nothing other than walk and a few pelvic floor exercises / trying to build my core up a bit (from cesarian book). I need to lose a stone, I'm eating healthy but no weight is shifting so today I went back to the gym. I am still part breastfeeding and with DD1 the weight didn't fully go until I stopped but this time I need / want to lose more.

I did 20 mins on the treadmill alternating between walk uphill and very light jog on no incline, 20 mins on the cross trainer on a low level and a further ten mins up hill walk (slow) and my tummy hurts again. It's above the scar, sort of swollen up again. I have literally just left the gym so it may well be worse tonight. I feel
Pretty depressed that it seems I can't do anything without getting this swelling and discomfort. Did anyone else experience this? Is there anything I can do to ease it? Hmm

I expect you've just been set back a month by the haematoma.

I could do very gentle exercise 12 weeks after both sections. really easy workouts, light weights, 2 min runs etc.

50 minutes of light Jogging, cross trainer and uphill walking 11 weeks after major abdominal surgery?
Yes, I'd say a bit of swelling and discomfort would be pretty normal, tbh, especially if you went from doing nothing to 50 minutes of exercise.

Time and building up much more gradually will help.

Sorry I should have said it was all really gentle today, I didn't want to push it too far but probably shouldn't have jogged at all!! We shall see, desperate to exercise but I guess I have to be patient.
