Recipe of the week

penguinmum's creamy fish pie: smoky, seasonal fish in a creamy white sauce with grated, rather than mashed, tatties on top - a meal of the highest comfort-food order.

*NEW* *THREAD*
Sorry - I forgot to mention anyone else during my self indulgent whinge fest.....

Jam - carrier arrived this morning - thanks for that smile I will tackle practising when I'm feeling slightly more lively

AM - such a cute pic of your girls

Gin - glad Belle slept for you. Let me know the verdict on the Vitalumiere - I could do with all the help I can get, frankly

SOH - that truly sounds like the journey from hell sad Hope everyone is back on form.

CM - how are you feeling ? Any signs yet ?

Do we need a new thread for those having problems loading this one ??
That is nice...

I'm having the same Xmas day outfit dilemma except I will hopefully have given birth - so will need to accommodate saggy-post-baby-not-pregnant-anymore- but-still-fecking-huge belly, be able to bf in it and be comfy but still reasonably glam (ha ha ha at the thought of being a week or so post birth and glam hmm)

Sorry to hear hips etc. are getting worse PJ. Same here. I waddled out last night to meet some friends for pre christmas/pre baby meal and I can barely move today. I also have a hideous tummy bug (the effects of which combined with iron tablets are really really not pretty hmm). When the feck will it all be over ?! I'm just miserable sad
Oooh, I like that a lot!!!

Poor you PJ. Retail therapy is what you need wink I think this would look great for Xmas day.
<practices dance routines>

I'm OK, ta. I have horrendously sore hips and pubic area, and have now taken to wetting myself during the night. I love being pg, it's glamorous. TMI? Will buy some Tenalady today.

How bloody embarrassing, I was more concerned that someone had seen me fall, than I was about the bleeding that followed. All is well, anyway. I didn't go to hospital or anything. 33 week midwife appointment today.

I have now taken to worrying about what to wear when I am whale-like, wearing my Tenalady, on Christmas Day. Any ideas?
I knew it! Just the slightest sniff of a boy band and out she pops. grin

Not to worry about the bag, thanks for trying. Scoot is the queen of Primark so if she can't find it then it wasn't meant to be. sad

How are you feeling after your tumble?
Don't be dissing the Backstreet Boys - I went the night before AM did grin

TMAM - I went to Primarni for your bag on Saturday, unfortunately they are all sold out. Have asked Scoot to look in London for you smile

Jam - dress is amazing.
Nope, no compliments. I'm not sure I can see the difference myself!

Perhaps the vitallum will transport me to a golden age of fine, plump, pore-free beauty...

BSB sounds like agony great fun April wink I bet Pink is very very jealous.

SOH, I can't believe you used the word 'crapola' in one of your postings. You've gone over to the dark side now.

Glad the do was a success and Lucy was such a good girl. The fire alarm must have sobered everyone up! Backstreet boys?! You are funny grin

TMAM that fish has a lot to answer for grin Are you getting compliments?

I am going to start a new thread. Any title ideas?

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
