Phoenix Mon 10-Aug-09 19:53:43

Thanks, i didn't notice it was about to die.

Frizbe Mon 10-Aug-09 19:55:50

Whew I thought I may actually have to start a thread then for a second grin I was staring at a blank page debating what to call it! whew! thanks for that Flame (btw I ate some popcorn for you earlier!) How's the bump today? less tight?

EPPM if you're going to Selly Oak, you may see my friend,(Dr Bates) she's just starting her 1st registrar post there in Dermaholiday grin
shock for dd being a madam when her friend came over, I hate it when they do that....hmm last time dd1 did it, I ended up playing outside with her two friends, whilst she stropped about in her bedroom

MRM yay for day at work and extra woot for missing the McD's party!

So I threw the towel in this am and brought a new fridge freezer, had to go with hotpoint, as the only thing bar another crappy Beko, that will fit the hole we have (ok Fridgidare did one too, but too small) and to be honest the hotpoint one, was the only other one that looked like it could fit a pizza box in shock and now totally brassy sad but at least we can have fishfingers, peas and icecream again grin and the staff in our local sainsbos and coop won't think I'm a looney who stalks their wares every day......hmm

Ello. Thanks for new thread.
Yay for new fridge freezer.
Yay for derma referral and new tooth. How many does he have now?

mustrunmore Mon 10-Aug-09 21:02:22

Ok, so I diidnt cliam on Flame's link before replyinig to you csws! you'll have to go read the other thread.

EachPeachPearMum Mon 10-Aug-09 21:22:35

Phoenix Mon 10-Aug-09 22:08:16

Ds1 has got tongue tie . He has to go to ENT at hospital. He got quite upset today when the doctor was trying to look in his mouth so i'm dreading taking him to hospital. I was meant to ring for an appointment tonight but dh is on nights and ds2 has spent almost all evening screaming so haven't had chance.

for selling stuff on ebay csws. I've got loads that needs to go on and i just can't be arsed to do it.

Hope babygus isn't making you uncomfy tonight flame.

for job mrm. I need to make an appointment for a new tattoo but think yours might be too far to travel.

Can't believe your ds is weaning already eppm shock

EachPeachPearMum Mon 10-Aug-09 22:32:19

scary isn't it?

sorry to hear about DS1 though sad dh still has his effectively- he can't put his tongue out of his mouth properly, and cannot pronounce his 'r's either...

Jas Mon 10-Aug-09 22:48:52

Busy day. Out all day and very tired, so no proper post.

mrm - I have sent my phone no via facebook as I don't have your email any more.

Flamesparrow Mon 10-Aug-09 23:30:20

Phoenix, I know it will be hard but it will be better in the long run. Not just for the speech issue - DH says his has got tighter over the years and it aches at times, just randomly

Babygus is playing up tonight as well. Haven't felt "right" since mid afternoon. Not having contractions or anything, but not feeling normal either.

Yay for tooth.

Yay for freezer.

Have forgotten the rest.

mustrunmore Tue 11-Aug-09 08:53:47

How many weeks are you now? I know I should know blush

Phoenix, what a graet idea! Come down for a visit and you can get tattoo done at same time! I'm sure we can fit you all in our house somewhere, Lewis could go in with the boys! And with the discount I'll be able yto get for ou, the tattoo will cost North prices anway grin

Got numbers Jas, ta. So, whats best? To get train to station and wa;lk, or is it still close to get that 217? Or would I end up too far away from the mills?

Frizbe Tue 11-Aug-09 09:11:11

10 weeks to go for Flame MRM....(prob nearly 9 now!) and then she's usually 2 weeks early right, so does that make it 7 wink 'dangles Flame bait'

Have a lovely meet up tomorrow you guys, gunpowder mills sounds like it could be fun? is it what it says on the tin?

EPPM ah Childrens, of course blush I don't think she's had a rotation there yet? she did Heatlands for a while, but has been mainly Selly Oak recently.

Phoenix, looks like you have a date at MRM's then smile Sorry to hear about the tongue tie sad causing the problems with ds1's speech but good advice from peeps here, sorry I don't have any getting over fear of Dr tips sad

Twiddling thumbs waiting for delivery here, dum de dum....

Flamesparrow Tue 11-Aug-09 10:25:06

How have we developed a myth of me being 2 weeks early?? I was 4 weeks late with DD, and on my due date with the dude.

Jas Tue 11-Aug-09 19:53:41

Didn't take to long for you to take that bait, Flame!grin

Sorry about the tongue tie Phoenix. I hope you can get it sorted quickly for him. Do you have books/dvds he can look at about nice drs and hospital visits maybe?

mrm....do you remember where macdonalds was? It is the left turn right there as you come from the train. Probably not worth the bus, maybe only 2 stops. I will be there from 12.30, but if you want to come earlier, let me know and i can meet you.

DS cut through the hover cable with wire cutters today. While I was using itshock
He is a very lucky boy. Totally unharmed.

The wire cutters had a hole burned into them, and the electrics tripped out.

Phoenix Tue 11-Aug-09 20:17:16

shock He is bloody lucky Jas. Glad he wasn't hurt.

Flame - How did you go 4wks over with dd? Thought you could only go over by 2wks?

Phoenix Tue 11-Aug-09 20:19:42

Never thought of books Jas. I bought him 3 books to explain about the baby coming and him been a big brother.

mustrunmore Tue 11-Aug-09 20:43:13

Sounds like the kind of thing ds2 would do too.

Ok, I'll aim for 12.30, I'll get the train as I've at least been there once vfore! I think I remember the route hmm

Jas Tue 11-Aug-09 21:03:02

Train statin is closer than the bus station, toosmile

Flames 4 weeks over is due to Drs and her not agreeing on a due date in the first place I think. They thought she was 2 weeks over.

mustrunmore Tue 11-Aug-09 21:06:46

Ok, we're gonna leave here 10.30ish, so that'll prob be more like 11, so should be there bout the right time. Ds1 very excited bout seeing the girls, not so excited bout not just coming to your house to watch Spiderman and chexck out the toyshmm

Flamesparrow Tue 11-Aug-09 21:07:44

They thought I was on time. When she was born they then agreed that she was a min of 2 weeks over.

I knew my dates due to only one incident of sex, and that by their dates I had a pos test at stupidly early, and we heard heart beat through a doppler before it was possible hmm

Argh for wire cutters!!! DS has done many little git things today (far too many to list), but thankfully none life threatening

mustrunmore Tue 11-Aug-09 21:10:55

Did mention ds2 swung off the curtains, braking the rail and pulling a huge chunk of polaster out of the wall? That was the morninig vefore the Ikea security alert hmm

EachPeachPearMum Tue 11-Aug-09 21:25:15

ooh Flame- your DH has tongue-tie too? What an odd coincidence!

Wasn't it glorious today? <sigh> almost like a real summer...

Jas- shock thank goodness he's okay.

Phoenix- your library might have something- ours has a whole shelf of 'families like ours' which is basically books about different situations for children to learn about- mum with disabilities, 2 dads, having an operation etc...

Eek for wire cutters.

Ds smashed our big Sony Bravia tv today (was in bedroom - not big one in living room). He was fine though - just a little shocked at first.

Have fun tomorrow mrm and Jas.

Flamesparrow Tue 11-Aug-09 22:52:54

Argh for curtains. How long did it take to find him in ikea anyway?

I though that too EPPM! Midwives always give me a weirdy look because after both of them the first question I ask isn't fingers/toes, it is "Is the tongue ok?!"

Frizbe Tue 11-Aug-09 23:04:10

EEeeeekkk for the wire cutters Jas, glad he's ok phew.

MRM eek for the curtains too shock

Phoenix, there's an episode or two of Me Too! that is a big hospital one, might be of use if you can find it?

Flame grin at you taking the bait!
never mind we'll be with you, in spirit at least in the long wait!

CSWS sad for the TV, is it working still?
Try not to buy a new one till next year if you can (unless its an insurance job) as all TV's will be produced with internet capability from next year, so you'll be able to do all this on your tv!
