I'm sat watching In The Night Garden (sky+ from Friday) with a very quiet little boy

Thanks for teh weekend CSWS, had a lovely time and was great to meet you all.

Unfortunately ds was not so well when I got home, he hasn't eaten much for a couple of days and was up most the night. Today he seems ok but now I feel rough, tummyachey and sicky

Watched ITNG this am and it was a repeat of the episode you put me through on Sat! Ds sat there throughout the whole thing and watched it though!

Thats very interesting, as ds2 threw up this morning, and was very very unhappy in the night. Still taking him swimming this morning though

KelBelle · 06/08/2007 09:26

DS not right here either, very quiet and sleepy what's up with them all??

Looks like ITNG is a fav with the babes at the moment although DS is in front of C-Beebies.

Not sure what I want to do at the moment as boiler man is here and I feel like I'm in the way. Oh well - I will be on here all morning

Still not dressed and house still looks like a bomb has hit from the boys weekend - feeling grateful ds in bed coz I don't have the energy to entertain

Nursery mentioned to me sickness and diarrhoea were going round, no sign of either but generally feel stomachachey s guessing ds must have felt the same.

My Boy is ok
It is odd now with no dds. I keep thinking I have to go and get them, or check on them in bed, then I remember they are at mums house.

DP is home this week. (No job) but he spent today rendering walls and taking stuff to the tip, so he is at least making himself useful, and may have a couple of rooves to do next week.

Must be something in the air Jas, dh did 'stuff' today too while we were aout He made a planter for the strawberries out of next door's old wood offcuts, and did a dark stain. It actuaaly looks ok! And he painted the boys' picnic bench.

There's also def something going round. We had a great day (not swimmming in the end as it was too nice a day; went to Knebworth) and the boys were fine. Got in about 6.30pm, gave ds2 his bottle, did his teeth, up to bed, threw up his milk all over the carpet, took him in our room, threw up his lunch too. Tons and tons of sick

Oh I did mean to say lots of sympathy to all the poorly littlies

Oh dear for all these poorly folk. Hope you/they are all better soon.

Now at my parents, and dd finally in bed, but not yet asleep . Realised on the way up that I've forgotten to bring any make up . I know I don't always wear it, but to not even have the option for a whole week or more is not good!

mustrunmore · 06/08/2007 20:55

Do they not sell make up in that part of the world then?

If its any consolation, ds1 is still up too I'm ignoring him.

Report
Jas · 06/08/2007 20:56

I bought mascara a few weeks ago, used it once, and lost it

Make up is a wate of time imo.

Report
mustrunmore · 06/08/2007 20:59

No, losing it is a waste of time

Ha-de-har-har. Will prob try and get a compact, lipliner and lipstick, but I don't think that anywhere up here sells my Bobbi Brown shimmerbrick, and I really don't want to buy a blusher that I'll never use again. Will have to see if mum has an ok one (she's still at work so haven't seen her yet).

DD asleep now. Is ds1 mrm?

Report
mustrunmore · 06/08/2007 21:15

No, he bloody isnt Dh is lying on our bed having done his back in making the planter, and ds1 is dancing around him.

How did I know you'd have some special all singing all dancing stuff that cant be bought anywhere except a secret location on the last Wednesday of the month?!
Dont wait for Mum to get in; just poke round her drawers Thats what i'd do! What does she do workwise, or do I know already? sorry if I've forgotten.

She's a till tart at Tesco . (Used to work in credit control, but hated the people at her last job so left to save stress).

It's very easy to get from duty free, or dept stores in London, and it lasts bloody ages (years for me as I don't wear make up every day), so not normally a problem!

for all the problems you're having getting ds1 to sleep lately.

Report
mustrunmore · 06/08/2007 21:29

They do very cheap blusher at Tescos you know, esp with a staff discount. Virtually disposable

CantSleepWontSleep · 06/08/2007 21:31

mrm - get yourself over to my ebay thread please.

Oh no CSWS, I could NEVER do without makeup!! I never go out without blusher on otherwise I look like death!!!

I'm off to the London Aquarium tomorrow with DS and a mum and baby from toddler group. Really looking forward to it.

Ds was ok this afternoon, think he was tired this am but he was a lot better after his nap.
