Good job Sybs.

How were your last few days in Dorset? Did the rain abate?

I have the worst back pain, sort of where I think my kidneys may be. I'm such a physical wreck this year. I'm starting to get paranoid that something serious may underlay by 10,000 maladies. I haven't enjoyed good in weeks. This is not like me. I've lost 14 lbs in 8 weeks.

Arti, go see your dr. I have to see mine tomorrow as I have been getting IBS type symptoms for the past few weeks. I hope it's not IBS but better get looked at.

Thanks for the thread Sybs.

Gosh, that's a huge amount of weight to lose without trying. I agree on getting it checked out. Are you feeling stressed at work? I know you are in a new role (involving dressing up) but it's a big ask to have a FT job, 3 kids, condensed hours and all that that entails. I remember when Matthew was A's age, I worked one day a week! Take it easy but do swing by the doc just to check all's well.

Rain in Dorset fell every day. It did rather spoil the hol as the children associate beach hols with waves, swimming, suncream etc, none of which happened. Too cold to eat chips on the beach. Things were bad. Am toying with braving the British weather again for the summer, or nipping off abroad for sunshine guaranteed.

Arti you might need to get checked out of a UTI, they can occasionally be asymptomatic.

Thanks for the new thread Sybs. Sorry about the bad weather. Hope it is better for your next trip.

I have my last exam of the semester tomorrow. I have to go down to Rotterdam for it.

Hope it went well Vag! Good afternoon to all - we were in Italy over half term and the week before was just nutso, hence my going a bit quiet!

Have my 20 week scan tomorrow (am nearly 22 weeks but what the hey) - have to dash into London tonight to chair the management meeting for the building my flat is in (I must stop getting roped into stuff) then have to dash back to town tomorrow morning for the scan. Working it around the girls and school/pre-school is a real bugger.

Rubes, are you moving today?? I hope it is not too stressful.

I am really behind but will hope to catch up on the train home tonight.

lady how are you already 22 weeks? hasn't that flown by!

arti hope you are ok, def get checked out.

mayhem here. git back from London around 7pm, ds2 refused bed until 1030 as had been in car all afternoon. so he is now shattered and in melt down mode but if I let him sleep he won't go to bed tonight. If it were just him I'd stick tv on but I have another little boy I've had from 9am and he isn't going until 4.30, he goes to same CM as mine and she is unavailable today as her dd had hospital appointment so since I managed to sort my shifts to look after my dcs I offered to have him too. He is lovely, no bother at all. But can't really go for tv from now until home time!

all done woot woot. I think I went ok, I have already passed the subject so no stress on that front but still want to do ok to boost my overall mark. Thanks for the thoughts. On the train back home now I rang DH & it sounded like all hell was breaking loose.

Indith stick it on, if he was mine I would be just grateful that he is being looked after. Besides he might wander off and play with something else anyway after a while.

22 weeks Lady! crikey that happened quickly. How was lovely Italy?

Not long now and you'll be all settled in Rubes.

Thanks for the thread Sybs. Sorry the weather wasn't better.

Wow Lady that has flown by. How was Italy?

Arti Go to the gp for a check up. If you've been off your food then weight loss is more understandable that if you'd been eating normally and losing weight. IYSWIM? A check up will put your mind at rest. Stress sounds likely as you have such a busy schedule and 3 children!

Great news on the exam Vag.

We had a good weekend away with friends but 2 late nights and I'm knackered. I had to share a bed with the dds which was awful! Such a lot of wriggling, bickering and lack of space. Dd2 likes to lay horizontally across the bed so a swift kick to the head happens often. I think we were all glad to be back in our own beds last night.

At this time 7yrs ago, I was entering my 2nd day of labour and was exhausted. I was drugged to the eyeballs and was attempting to sleep. 2hrs later they told me I had to start pushing as the baby was distressed. Another 1.5hrs later DS1 was pulled out. Not the easiest of entrances into the world. Smile

Happy birthday to young Jammy! Have a lovely day.

Lady, 22 weeks is fab. Good luck for the scan today. Is it FMC?

You in the new gaff, Rubes?

Hons, sleeping with the children is a nightmare, isn't it? They steal the quilt, kick and wake you up to check you are happy.

Good luck at GP, Kayz.

Work today, boo! I hate going back after the holidays.

Sorry, didn't meant to worry everyone. Just been a bit crazy legging it into London on Monday night, back again then then off again yesterday plus piles of admin! Yes, the scan (at FMC) was lovely Smile All good. She looks like DD2 in profile rather than DD1. All the bits seemed to be in the right place and they seemed very happy with it all. I just feel really excited now. I have my date for the section as well - 8am on 1st October!! It's only 2 days after DD2's birthday, she was 29 Sept. I have another scan in 10 weeks to check the placenta is working properly and to size the baby up, and that's about it! It was great to see her wafting about and she did a thumbs up (well with one thumb) which has delighted DD2, who was with us.

I will actually be back for a big fat catch up later, as Italian has been cancelled for tonight so won't be cramming that and rushing around. Just need to work through the admin first as I have the house to myself for an hour - DP is out looking at a new car (ours only drives in fourth gear and is about to give up the ghost - we needed a new one anyway, cos of new member of team), and DD2 is at Forest School (or a baby version of it called Little Wild Things). It's her first session. They are taken to woodland in a minibus. She was massively excited.

Well the house thing is defo over. Our mortgage has been withdrawn. Never mind at least we can go in holiday.

oh poop Jammy. Het is jammer Jammy. That means it's a shame Jammy, in Dutch. So even sadder.

Lovely to hear from you Lady. Quite excited bubby coming in October, woohoo.

can't write more too tired. The boys are taking part in Avondsvierdaagse which is four evenings where several schools get together and parents, kids & teachers all go for a walk together. DS1 walks 5km each night & DS2 2.5km. However, tonight the little ones leader got a bit lost and they walk 5km instead. Anyway, tomorrow night is the last one. Has been nice but everyone gets to bed later.

Jam, I am so sorry Sad What a rotten shame. Will you start again, do you think? Applying for mortgages is no fun in this climate, I know.

So much for coming back for big fat catch up..have MIL coming this afternoon so need to tidy up a bit.

Have inquest date for DH's Dad. 2nd July. Dreading it as it will be very gory (details of post mortem etc). and DP can't accompany me as he will be away in a trial in Grimsby.

JamInMyWellies · 05/06/2014 11:45

Lady are you able to leave the rm when they talk about those bits? Have you anyone you could take with you?

DH wants to try again. But I worry that this process has taken 3 wks and we told the EAs on both sides yesterday. So am sure that our buyers will have started looking again. Also the developer that we were buying from has been on our case from the moment he accepted our offer, so am sure he will not want to hang around.

Arti how are you feeling?

Mckayz · 05/06/2014 15:04

DS2 has a stomach ache, I had to pick him up from school as he didn't get to the toilet in time so got covered in poo. Sorry TMI. He feels fine so hopefully it was a one off.

Jam, I hope you can get the house sorted soon.
