Eeekkkk who to vote for? I was all for Lib Dem candidate until yesterday when he sent an absolutely awful piece of election material so now I'm undecided. (The leaflet was toe curlingly awful)

Andrew Smith (Lab) been fairly good local MP but I want a change but I'm not sure the Lib Dem candidate is the right guy.

AAggh what to do. .......

Oooh you are quite lucky to be in a genuine marginal (i.e. your vote means something). It would be a shame to boot out a good local MP, but obv you have to go with who you want to represent you in parliament too... guess it is down to who is the best candidate.

Ours is also a marginal seat, there was 3000 votes (about 5%) between them last time. I had a look at wikipedia and it is really clear that it really is a two horse race, and to vote for any other party would be a complete waste of time.

They are talking about Oxford East on Ch4 news right now! Or you could see it on Ch4 plus 1 in an hour.

Wow, is Oxford East a marginal seat nowadays?

I used to live there but there was nothing marginal about it then.

It was marginal in 1983 as I recall.
