OUr qow last week (see below) apparently was the inspiration behind this ad:

  1. Work all hours to pay mortgage and bills

2. Set up and run new GP surgery
3. Tidy up
4. Set up and run secondary school for older children
5. Make dinner
6. Create affordable and fantastic childcare for baby
7. Feed cats
8. Set up and run new leisure centre
9. Visit family and friends
10. Return library books (local library not much kop, actually; perhaps will set up and run an
alternative in due course)
11. Set up and run dental surgery
12. Set up and run primary school for when baby leaves affordable and fantastic childcare
13. Food shopping (perhaps from community shop that I set up and run?)
14. Set up and run further-education college for when older children leave school
15. Invent truly lightweight parent-facing buggy
16. Redecorate house..."

Labour chap who organised GB's webchat today told me this tonight. Way to go, Skegness, "This truly is the MN election" (His words not mine!)

I saw that on twitter and thought it was a joke. It scared the life out of me when it flashed up with my name on it. Clever stuff.

Well done Skegness!

Well I thought Skegness's post was way funnier than the ad.

"It is only a Labour Government that can be trusted to protect our public services and turn them from good to great."

Exactly how? - given that whoever gets in will make cuts in public service spending?

I'm not saying that I buy the 'big society' thing either - but at least it's a plan!
