Surely who you vote for should be decided by their policies and what that party would do for the coutry as a whole and not your own particular requirements.
Why do you condemn David Cameron for his priviledged background and yet love Nick Clegg with a practically identical one?
Why do you judge people by your own perceptions of what the expressions on faces mean e.g. sneering, boredom etc.
Have you studied what Labour has achieved during the last 13 years, the good as well as the bad?
It would be so good to have an unbiased debate.

  1. There is a huge gulf between the worldview of Cameron and that of Clegg.

  1. Labour has blown a big hole in the public finances and trampled on our freedoms. I don't actually live in the UK, but am British and I want a liberal Britain that is genuinely fair. Unfortunately we'll be struggling to deal with the consequences of Labour ineptitude, but better than allowing it to go on.

Erm, why would you not vote for who'll be best for them and theirs.

Why do you condemn David Cameron for his priviledged background and yet love Nick Clegg with a practically identical one?

Do i?

Why do you judge people by your own perceptions of what the expressions on faces mean e.g. sneering, boredom etc.

Human nature, everyone does it.

Have you studied what Labour has achieved during the last 13 years, the good as well as the bad?

No do you have to to be able to vote? I pressume you also have to study the mess the conservatives made of it all before then?

It would be so good to have an unbiased debate.

Unbiased in what way?

"Why do you condemn David Cameron for his priviledged background and yet love Nick Clegg with a practically identical one?"

Well, firstly, I'm not seeing all this massive condemnation of DC's background (on MN anyway, I don't read tabloids) but here are my suggestions...

Maybe because only one of them went on to lead a party dedicated to perpetuating said privilege, and protecting the interests of the rich?

Maybe because it's possible to go to public school and Oxbridge, and yet not be a public school tosser (some of my best friends etc etc)? Here's a clue; joining the Bullingdon Club probably not the best way to go about this.

To quote Mark Steel, "...if the Lib Dems win, nothing fundamental would change, but at least we'd have the novelty of having to work out why the Prime Minister is a tosspot rather than knowing it from the start."
