I was just trying to think of someone more repulsive than George Osbourne.......

LadyBlaBlah Thu 15-Apr-10 13:32:57

and couldn't

Piers Morgan.

LadyBlaBlah Thu 15-Apr-10 13:36:09

I have fleeting feelings of OK-ness to Piers

TopTrump Thu 15-Apr-10 13:40:45

Sticking with politics: Nick Griffin

But totally agree about the other two!

mussyhillmum Thu 15-Apr-10 13:47:37

Feel ill at the thought of all above, but, for me, Ed Balls wins hands down every time.

SethStarkaddersMum Thu 15-Apr-10 13:49:15

Peter Mandelson

Miggsie Thu 15-Apr-10 13:53:57

Micheal Portillo

ChocolatePants Thu 15-Apr-10 13:55:49

Timmy Mallet- he has the most repugnant mouth.

I don't know who the guy is in the OP

ChocolatePants Thu 15-Apr-10 13:56:19

Link to George Osborne please?

ooh there you are! Just butting in to send some love to Sethssmum!

erm trying to think of actual constructive addition to thread.....Osborne tool, Morgan worse and I Lurve, Lurve the Prince of Darkness. I mean he is basically Voldemort what's not to like?

PandaSam Thu 15-Apr-10 13:57:08

Gordon Brown!

ChocolatePants Thu 15-Apr-10 14:00:37

Sorry just realised the politician point of the whole thread, just ignore me, I am crap

peachylovesherpoochy Thu 15-Apr-10 14:00:57

He is the vilest of vile things. Simon Cowell probably runs a close second for me

SethStarkaddersMum Thu 15-Apr-10 14:07:17

grin AppleTreeWick

I heard a quote somewhere about how if you opened a newspaper and read that Mandelson had been appointed the new Archbishop of Canterbury, you would still not be entirely surprised.

I don't think Brown is repulsive. He's Wrong but Wromantic, despite being a puritan.

WilfandWilma Thu 15-Apr-10 14:54:07

Ed Balls is infinitely more repulsive than George Osborne. Whatever you think about George Osborne he doesn't bully people in the same way that Ed Balls does - it's positively terrifying to think that Brown would like him to succeed him as PM. To name but one example his treatment of Sharon Shoosmith who he sacked as Head of Childrens' Services at Haringay has been nothing short of a complete stitch up. I could go on and on about him...

Kewcumber Thu 15-Apr-10 14:56:05

whats the problem with geoarge osborne? (otehr than being a politician and posh) - haven't heard much of him myself.

thesecondcoming Thu 15-Apr-10 15:02:55

he's called gideon osborne actually-he changed it to something more populist and less snooty,i think he's also a baronet... but he's dropped that too to be more 'one of us'

Kewcumber Thu 15-Apr-10 15:07:11

I'mnot pro George Osborne (don't know enough about him) but he can hardly help what his parens called him or being born a baronet! Tony Blair was hardly working class, was he!

I'd be more interested to know what he has done

ommmward Thu 15-Apr-10 16:37:06

More repulsive?

Ed Balls.

Google Ed Balls and Home Education. The man is not fit to hold office.

duckyfuzz Thu 15-Apr-10 16:41:10

Michael Gove comes pretty close I reckon

BariatricObama Thu 15-Apr-10 16:45:00

god yes Michael grove is the ultimate contraption

sfxmum Thu 15-Apr-10 16:49:30

Robbie Williams no contest

and I don't really like Osborne, humourless over privileged twat that he is

Peter Mandelson is pretty vile too and rather scary

grin

sarah293 Thu 15-Apr-10 16:52:09

David Mellor

sfxmum Thu 15-Apr-10 16:52:16

George Galloway for being an hypocrite of gigantic proportions

RedBlueRed Thu 15-Apr-10 16:55:33

I would second Nick Griffin and Michael Portillo.

<boak>

Lutyens Thu 15-Apr-10 17:22:55

George Osborne makes me come over all sick. But Nick Griffin and Simon Cowell much much worse!

Strange thing is Peter Mendelson, in spite of everything, doesn't repulse me! I just don't get that visceral illogical inexplicable revulsion for him that I do for Osborne and Cowell.

LOVE the Archbishop of Canterbury quote. That'll be the day grin

SethStarkaddersMum Thu 15-Apr-10 17:24:38

agree re Galloway.

but rather like Gove.

omnishambles Thu 15-Apr-10 17:26:59

I lvoe that famous Osborne quote about his school (Eton) not being that elitist because pupils fathers ran the whole social gamut from lords to solicitors...

George Osborne, for example, is a twat

If we include past ones, my vote would go for Neil Hamilton

What about the slimeballs in UKIP - Nigel SS... and the permatan one ...Kilroy ..

SethStarkaddersMum Thu 15-Apr-10 17:38:57

I thought Osborne went to St Pauls?
and was mocked for being an oik by his friends in the Bullingdon.

omnishambles Thu 15-Apr-10 17:42:26

so he did - no wonder there was such a big social mix grin

BaconandEgg Thu 15-Apr-10 17:42:47

Gordon Brown. The fake smile, the bizarre jaw ... Whilst I think it's important to understand the parties' stances on various issues, there is absolutely no way I can watch the debate tonight. 90 minutes of Gordo would drive me absolutely insane.

lincstash Thu 15-Apr-10 17:44:15

Oh thats easy. You could easily rattle off Harriet Harman, the antimale bigot, or Jackie Smith the Incompetent, or Alan Ainsworth, the Useleess Defence Secretary but the easy winner is......

Peter Mandelson. A slimy, conniving two faced liar who has spent 20 years lining his own pocket with public money, and has actually bee ejected from public office twice for dishonest. Spent his entire time in Brussels selling us down the river and stabbing us in the back, whilst filling his own pockets by selling favours and patronage, and using his public position for his own person advancement.

Rotten, corrupt, untrustworthy, dishonest and thoroughly vile to the core, there is no one more repulsive than Peter Mandelson.

SethStarkaddersMum Thu 15-Apr-10 17:48:49

he belongs in the court of Henry VIII really, Mandelson.

TheFirstLady Thu 15-Apr-10 17:55:58

I like Peter Mandelson.

Agree with Riven though, David Mellor is possibly the most repulsive politician ever to hold office.
But George Osborne is a close second.

ImSoNotTelling Thu 15-Apr-10 18:08:39

nicholas soames, surely.

noddyholder Thu 15-Apr-10 18:15:42

Nick griffin and that little Yvette woman

scarletlilybug Thu 15-Apr-10 18:34:37

No one mentioned Tony Blair yet?

Peter Mandelson.

Alastair Campbell. .

Gordon Brown.

Harriet Harman.

Ed Balls.

Austin Mitchell.

Sarah Teather.

Can't remember his name, but the "my house is like Balmoral" bloke.

said Thu 15-Apr-10 18:35:24

Michael Gove

said Thu 15-Apr-10 18:37:55

Oliver Letwin - ohgod, there's loads.

You won't see much of Osborne now though, he'll put on back-burner until election is over. Ditto Gove.

said Thu 15-Apr-10 18:40:02

Loads of repulsive ones, I mean. Osborne is very definitely repulsive.

GetOrfMoiLand Thu 15-Apr-10 18:40:06

Margaret Thatcher

Shaun Woodward

GetOrfMoiLand Thu 15-Apr-10 18:41:39

David Davies

Oh and how can we all be seriously considering voting in a bunch of Bullingdon rahs?

How did this happen? Is it the 1920s again?

<flies red flag>

Kathyjelly Thu 15-Apr-10 18:46:56

George Galloway meeowing like a cat. Still makes me cringe.

sfxmum Thu 15-Apr-10 18:53:44

Oliver Letwin is funny in the way that Boris is funny don't mind them for entertainment value but rather not have them in power

now Soames really is a throwback utterly up somewhere in uber posh rank of poshdonia

Piffle Thu 15-Apr-10 18:54:37

Michael Portillo <shivers>

Hassled Thu 15-Apr-10 18:57:08

George Osbourne is positively cuddly, reasonable, approachable and pleasant next to Nick Griffin. They both make me shudder, but Griffin is in a whole league of his own in the Prince of Darkness stakes.

HesterPrynne Thu 15-Apr-10 18:57:41

Osborne always looks to me like a drag queen just out of his frock, but his mouth still holding the pout. grin

said Thu 15-Apr-10 18:59:10

YES, to Osborne being like a drag queen! I imagine him in powdered wigs as well. I am positive he dyes his hair.

nigel farage

GetOrfMoiLand Thu 15-Apr-10 19:02:02

Urgh Boris Johnson.

Now it always used to make me hmm when people said about BJ's buffoon image 'oh no he is uber intelligent'. I thought if he was that blood intelligent he would have orked out that he comes across as a complete twat.

Perhaps you just have to be one of the braying upper middle classes to get him.

Clarissimo Thu 15-Apr-10 19:04:35

George, Nick and Boris- enough to make me turn celibate that would be! yuck

said Thu 15-Apr-10 19:14:24
MrsJohnDeere Thu 15-Apr-10 19:14:53

Ed Balls and the Millibands.

Alouiseg Thu 15-Apr-10 19:18:11

Most repulsive - Gordon Brown

2nd - Peter Mandelson

3rd - Andrew Slaughter

Nymphadora Thu 15-Apr-10 19:23:17

Virus Johnson hands down !

Nymphadora Thu 15-Apr-10 19:24:28

I mean Boris Johnson Iphone obviously agreed with me!

APassionateWoman Thu 15-Apr-10 19:24:38

Stepping out politics for a moment - Jeremy Clarkson, Jon Gaunt, Richard Littlejohn, Jezza Kyle...

Back to politics:

Osborne is pretty grim

Nick Griffin is a repulsive gargoyle

Chris Grayling is a horrific old dinosaur. How the Tories can have the cheek to propose him as Home Secretary. The mind boggles. I heard him waffling on in some semi-Enoch Powell type way about immigrants and floodgates the other day. Prick.

Tory votes, hang your heads in shame!

APassionateWoman Thu 15-Apr-10 19:25:02

voters

theboobmeister Thu 15-Apr-10 19:30:20

Rod Liddle

Easily as repulsive as any of the politicos but 100 times more self-righteous because he's a journo

APassionateWoman Thu 15-Apr-10 19:31:02

Oh yes, Liddle is a detestable human being.

lincstash Thu 15-Apr-10 20:42:01

David Mellor at least had the decency to resign, and he never had his fingers in the till, neither of which can be said for Mandelson, who had to be FORCED to quit TWICE, and has plundered the public purse for years.

If Nick Leeson or Robert Maxwell or Bernard Madoff, say suggested running your household finances for you, you would tell him to piss off. So why let Mandelson do it? There no difference between them , either of them will steal your money and lie to you.

Mandelson is crook. If you put crooks in power, dont be surprised when they turn out to be crooked.

If you want parliament cleansed of crooks, stop voting for them and there buddies.

whatwasthatagain Thu 15-Apr-10 20:53:11

You

APassionateWoman Thu 15-Apr-10 21:04:21

I don't like Mandelson (creepy) but he is bloody efficient. His Dept are doing good things.

jkklpu Thu 15-Apr-10 22:03:37

John Redwood

I have been thinking about Mandelson and the great quote from Seths earlier and I am reading Wolf Hall at the moment...so in a fight Wolsey v Mandelson....your money would have to go on Mandy surely?

Oh and I think I adore Mandelson now he many be a conniving swine but he's my conniving swine.

slug Fri 16-Apr-10 09:35:04

Thromdimbulator Fri 16-Apr-10 10:31:35

Can we as a nation not do something about Ed Balls? Oh, guess we could with an election. Who's in his constituency?

Remember Portillo? Ed Balls could possibly combust on live t.v. ... the power, the excitment!

TopTrump Fri 16-Apr-10 13:01:26

I have to second APassionateWoman on Jeremy Kyle. Horrible horrible man.

cinnamontoast Fri 16-Apr-10 14:15:08

Woah, Mrs JD, I'm sorry but the Millibands are quite gorgeous, especially Ed with his Bambi eyes.

EmmyFlavs Wed 08-May-13 16:39:31

It's still George Galloway for me, a classic anti semite who tries to do the ' I dont hate Jews I have a Jewish friend so see I am not a bigot'' , this man will snuggle up to any Despot ( preferably Middle Eastern) this man is the true enemy, not the Jews, and not the Muslims.

I recently saw a video clip on the Oxford Union website, showing George Galloways storming out of a debate he was invited to by the Students who are Jewish, but anti zionist and anti Israel, simply because he realised that one of the students was born in Israel, he said '' I have been dragged here under false pretences, I will NOT talk to anyone from Israel, I dont acknowledge the state of Israel''

He referrs to disabled people as 'Window lickers...the list goes on really.

Scum Bag

flatpackhamster Wed 08-May-13 19:46:58

Smug socialists who think they're nice people for taking other people's money and spunking it up a wall.

niceguy2 Thu 09-May-13 10:13:25

Definitely Ed Balls. He always has that smug look on his face that makes me want to smack him.

exexpat Thu 09-May-13 10:22:28

ZOMBIE ALERT

Why has this three-year-old thread been resurrected?

ttosca Thu 09-May-13 17:42:48

I think Ian Duncan Smith is currently the most vile person in Parliament.

He is a nasty, psychopathic, ruthless, and mendacious wrecker of lives.

dotnet Thu 09-May-13 22:25:39

David Mellor has come up surprisingly often, being as he's been out of the news for ages. But yes, he's a front runner. Oafish and arrogant. Pass the sick bag, Alice.
Michael Portillo? Oh no, no. A little bit smarmy, maybe, but a nice chap I'm sure, and good company. I wouldn't mind going on a long train journey with him (that is NOT code for anything else.)
Worse than David Mellor, though, is that commentator (ex commentator) on I think horse racing - that horrendous man who wears a deerstalker hat and calls his wife by some awful demeaning nickname. He was in that Wife Swap programme a few years ago. Who IS he? His ugly mug and his boorish behaviour come to mind so easily, but not his name (and it's an odd name, I think.)
HE wins the Number One Repulsiveness Rosette, with knobs on.

SirChenjin Thu 09-May-13 22:28:46

Tony Blair. The devil incarnate. In fact, if you google 'devil incarnate' a picture of TB's gurning, self satisfied, lying bastard face appears.

Startail Thu 09-May-13 22:35:59

George Galloway, UKIP and BMP leaders, Michel Foot, Eric Salmon, leader of Plaid Cymru

But most of all Gove and the head of Ofsted Sir twat face something another and his predecessor

Startail Thu 09-May-13 22:38:05

Chris Woodhead

SirChenjin Fri 10-May-13 08:58:28

Oh and Alex Salmond - how could I forget him??? I cannot bear the odious wee toadie, have to change channels whenever he appears on TV to tell us what the Scoa'ish people really want.

(Obviously we don't Alex, because 2/3rds of us keep telling you we don't want independence)

Wannabestepfordwife Fri 10-May-13 18:32:18

Tony Blair
David mellor
Peter mandelson
Harriet Harman
Edwina curry

Wannabestepfordwife Fri 10-May-13 18:32:55

Oh and nick clegg how on earth I left him off I don't know

EmmyFlavs Fri 10-May-13 19:20:31
