tactical voting?

I think my biggest motive for voting is a fear of the BNP and UKIP. I worry that apathy amongst their non-supporters is their best friend

So what's the best way to tactically vote against them?
It's a conservative area so is voting conservative a better way to do my bit to keep the worst ones out than voting for lib dem or green or someone like that (who I'd prefer a little to conservative, but don't want to waste a vote IYKWIM)

Vote Lib Dem! Once they're in power they'll abolish the first-past-the-post system and introduce a system where we are all properly represented, so there'll be no need for any more tactical voting ever again.

You dont have to tactically vote against BNP and UKIP they wont get anywhere.

You have only two options, in reality, if you want your vote to have some effect - you either vote labour and return them to power, or you vote for the party most likely to take power off them, which is Tory.

Voting libdem wont solve anything, because they wont share power with the Tories, and if they share power with labour then you might as well vote labour. Why half vote for them?

We have to be careful not to get brainwashed by the media telling us that we only have two options - we don't!!

There is a third option

There is a real groundswell of support for the Lib Dems - not surprisingly, as they make real sense and if there is anyone you would want to see in No. 10, it would be Nick Clegg.

They also have the student vote, which is key to any election - just look at what happened in the US with Barack Obama's campaign.
