Into the final lap now after over 1 year of entertainment, education and excitement. Donald J Trump is nearly there against all expectations.

Claig, what bothers me most about your post on this is that you have absolutely no skin in the game. You don't have a vote. You live in the half-way socialist UK.

But I do. I live in the US. It isn't half so funny for me as it is for you.

I didn't see this as 1 year of entertainment and education and excitement.

I saw it as a year when the republican party - a party I should be able to vote for as I am actually in their demographic - lost all reason and let a lightweight misogynist entitled rich white guy take over their primaries.

I saw it as a year when my teenage daughters were taught that someone who runs for president thinks it is "locker room talk" to talk about grabbing women's "pussys"

I'm glad it is all fun and games for you. My children will live their adult lives here. Not so much fun and games and education for them - more cold hard realistic look at who they live beside.

But so glad you are enjoying yourself.

'I didn't see this as 1 year of entertainment and education and excitement.'

So what? I do. This is a UK board and even though we don't "have any skin in the game" here, we are allowed to discuss the American elections on a UK board even if you don't like any opinions expressed.

'But so glad you are enjoying yourself.'

Thanks, i am because I understand what it means for the entire world and for the US. I agree with the millions of Trump fans, with Judge Jeanine, with Sheriff David Clarke, with the Stump for Trump Sisters, I disagree with you.

I won't, if it's OK with you. But top marks for a snide first post.

From the previous thread:
Trump is a billionaire but he may not be self-serving. Plenty of people who have done well in life support him. His support traverses many demographic lines. A lot of criminal activity, collusion and greed went on in 2008, which we are all still suffering from. He is small time compared to that. Remember, the shareholders (these are the guys who don't have pensions or health schemes) always get paid first and they will raid your pension pot or health scheme in order to do so. If he doesn't start a war or get taxpayers to pay for greed or criminal collusion , he'll already be an improvement on the current lot.

I understand the discomfort about the pussy talk but you can let your teenagers decide, like I've done with mine, which is worse: selling arms to the Saudis and accepting donations from them in return while knowing that they are funding terrorism to kill us, or pussy talk. Mine said the former. Genuinely.

Well, from the last thread:

But Trump has the power to appoint a prosecutor to reopen the investigation

Yes, but that's quite different from saying he'd lock her up.
Do you understand how dangerous and disrespectful of the legal system it is just the fact that he said it? And that he got crowds to scream it too?

Let's hope you never find yourself at the receiving end of such a lynch mob.

fourmummy

It was not pussy talk, it was actually grabbing. As all the testimonies show.

Will someone say it's not been proven in court?
Well, neither have the accusations against Hillary.

No because lots of people say that the inevitable result will be that she will be locked uo and go to jail, attorney Judge Jeanine, Attorney Rudy Giuliani and many others. Trump doesn't get them to shout lock her up, they do it of ther own volition. The only thing he gets them to shout is "Mexico" when he says "who's going to ay for the wall?"

'Let's hope you never find yourself at the receiving end of such a lynch mob.'

I won't because i haven't committed any crimes

No

Well... You should.

And btw, you don't have to have done anything to be at the mercy of a lynch mob. Someone just needs to point the finger at you.
That is the danger. And if you don't get that, then... you're no better than any lynch mob that has ever existed and killed anyone based on finger pointing.

Pallisers - your children live alongside Jay-Z. My DH has just sent me the lyrics to 'Big Pimpin' ( and not on the family chat so that the kids can't see them!). That's the society you live in, top (presidents) to bottom (ordinary people). It's everywhere, and is perpetuated by a lack of will to get rid of this kind of sexism. Is starting wars and colluding with terrorism worse? Explain to your children. Show them the evidence (but not Jay-Z's lyrics) and see what they say.

claig · 06/11/2016 00:43

But Trump fans aren't a "lynch mob" as you over dramatically would like to portray them as. They are shouting "lock her up" because they think she is a criminal, they aren't pointing fingers, they are expressing their wishes.

And Trump has said "she has to go to jail" and so has Judge Jeanine and so have many other people and the reason that James Comey had to announce that he was looking into te whole thing again is because there was a rebellion in the FBI and pressure from the NYPD because they were angry that justice was not being done.

Let's hope they're not, because after the 2nd ammendment reference and rigging calls, it's damn worrying.
What we're seeing is lynch mob mentality and incitement at work.
Just entertainment for you, though. That's great.

"Trump Slams Jay Z’s Sexist, N-word, F-bomb-Laced Language at Hillary Clinton Concert

Under a 50-foot jumbotron blaring the words “women should vote,” rapper Jay Z kicked off a profanity-laced music performance for Hillary Clinton in Cleveland Friday night.

A relentless torrent of F-bombs and N-words permeated from the stage as Jay Z belted out the misogynistic lyrics to his 2009 song “Dirt Off Your Shoulder.”

Trump got a bigger crowd than Jay-Z and Beyonce got for Hillary. He says the whole system is phoney.

I wasn't aware jay-z was running for president or actually bragging of groping women, or been accused of doing it. Or, again, of running for president.

Also, having checked the criticism, jay-z can use the n word, didn't you know that?
It's not a profanity, although it has a specific symbolism.

From Claig. No wonder he/she/it thinks Trump is great - it is all about entertainment and excitement. Reality tv bleeding into politics.

I try not to respond to Claig too much. Partly because I don't think he/she/it is real and partly because if it is real then it is heartless.

But this is a very real election for americans. We care deeply. people are worried. But it is all fun and games for Claig and apparently my view doesn't matter much because "this is a UK site"

'if it is real then it is heartless'

What a nice thing to say, what a nice person you are.

'I try not to respond to Claig too much'

That's fortunate

'But this is a very real election for americans. We care deeply. people are worried. But it is all fun and games for Claig and apparently my view doesn't matter much because "this is a UK site"'

I didn't say your view didn't matter much. Of course it is an important election, but it has also been entertaining (not for you obviously but for many others) which is why Judge Jeanine, Governor Jan Brewer, Governor Mike Huckabee, Rudy Giuliani, Newt Gingrich, the Stump for Trump Sisters, Kimberley Guilfoyle, Eric Bollyn and many millions of others want Trump to win. If you prefer Hillary, that's fine.

Claig, considering what you post I find it funny that you are going for the "why can't posters be nice" approach.

Seriously. You are for Trump. You KNOW what he thinks and says. You have repeated it all. And yet you think someone who disagrees with you should be "nice"??

Glad you think it is an important election. Those of us who live and vote in the country in question didn't actually need you to tell us that.
