Good news for Labour members. I think the anti Corbyn lot may still appeal it, though.

He is going to win regardless

Making way for the Tories to win 2020 election

The Tories must be laughing

Why Enthusiasm?

I won't be voting Tories.

Are you a Tory voter?

A floating voter?

Jeremy Corbyn will never be PM. Putting aside he is absolutely useless as the party leader of the opposition in the referendum his so called campaigning was appalling,
his consistent rebelling against the party he is supposed to represent and of course then there is his connection with terrorists groups and the man of principal myth will be picked apart by the press running up to an election. The public will be reminded this is a man who has shared platforms with terrorist organisations and happily takes fees from Iranian state television

I am a Tory and I am not laughing - no effective opposition always makes the party in power look bad. No opposition is bad for democracy. As a Tory I fear complacency, romping home in 2020 is no good if we lose the one after that.

I am in Scotland and can see the harm a one party state is doing.

Apart from anything else now with Brexit talks starting the UK does not need the unedifying sight of the official opposition tearing itself apart, taking itself to court and not concentrating on the work they are paid handsomely to do.

That's true

I meant as in there is little concern that labour will win the next election

It's not good the opposition is so poor and has such poor leadership I feel it may come to the party splitting which isn't good either but maybe the only way labour (or the new party) can stand a chance in winning an election

Setting aside the candidates, I think the NEC took a huge gamble when they set the rules to exclude voters but the NEC should have the final say.
These two challenges in the courts seem wrong when members elect the NEC.

Given the new membership of the NEC, if the vote on this issue were to be taken now, there would be no need for a court case.

The winners in this debacle so far seem to be the lawyers and solicitors.

Well yes that does introduce another complexity to it.

AnnieOnnieMouse, the 5 who challenged it may still take it to the Supreme Court.

Bad for democracy, but what can you expect of the Etsbalishment?

Surely buying a vote is bad for democracy?
