Corbyn appoints an adviser who is in touch with the people

"the man he appointed as his political adviser described Ed Milband’s shadow cabinet as “the most abject collection of absolute shite”.

Andrew Fisher, a former union activist, also referred to Tony Blair and Alastair Campbell as “scumbags”, called Jack Straw a “vile git”

www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/jeremy-corbyn-faces-backlash-after-political-adviser-andrew-fisher-describes-ed-milibands-cabinet-as-a6701911.html

Is Corbyn trying to win the popular vote by appointing someone who shares the opinion of the public?

It looks like the Corbyn revolution is not over and the modernisers have to fear for their future. Varoufakis was on the Daily Politics today and said that Corbyn's team have been thrust into power unexpectedly, they never imagined they would make it and they will need time to sort themselves out.

But if Corbyn keeps appointing honest advisers who think the same way as the public, then they look like they may still make it.

Is this the "new politics", the politics of truth?

"We do not do personal abuse, we do collective abuse"

Corbyn's slogan (stolen from UKIP) is "straight talking, honest politics". It looks like Labour are living up to it. If anything, it is admirable.

Still riding two political horses eh, Cochise?

You appear to be the only excited an advisor that doesn't play well with others. when tribal Corbyn need people with people skills OUTSIDE his own wigwam - and I've never seen a rottweiler share/smoke a peace pipe, even on Britain's Got Talent.

What bit of

'described Ed Milband’s shadow cabinet as “the most abject collection of absolute shite”.

do you disagree with?

Is it not refreshing for an adviser to tell the truth for a change? This is the New Politics.

Claig .... Re the quote “the most abject collection of absolute shite”. you ask me what I disagree with.

Surprisingly after ALL I have said for the past few years, let me qualify something.

Based on the 1997 to 2010 UK Economic, Financial, & Social 'Country Model' - the problem is based ON that model, where the State grows more than the Private Sector economy that supports it - the outcome would have been similar no matter who was in the cabinet, in government or shadowing moving into government.

Miliband took the Labour Party further to the left than Brown (based on his 2010 GE manifesto) and Corbyn is looking to take it further.

And taking it further would mean a LARGER State than before, with even less understanding of how the Private Sector/Business that pays for it, works.

In other words, it is the ideology/model that sucks a big one, so hard for any Labour individuals to ever really shine. IMBO.

So are you disagreeing with Labour's new head of policy, Corbyn appointed Andrew Fisher whoi said that Ed Miliband's cabinet was “the most abject collection of absolute shite”?

Are you out of touch with the "new politics", Labour's "straight talking, honest politics" where spin is ended and truth reigns?

“the most abject collection of absolute shite”

What are you objecting to in this new age of "truthfulness" and "new politics"? Are you quibbling with the word "absolute"?

Get over yourself! We are in a new age of "straight talking honest politics" and Labour have a new head of policy and the days of spin are over.

We have had a huge disconnect and gulf between the public and the political class and the Establishment media. The media praised the political class and put them on a pedestal and yet when the public looked at them, all they could see was what Labour's new head of policy saw.

This created confusion and cognitive dissonance. The public plainly saw reality and yet were told the opposite by the Establishment media. Trust in institutions and the media declined as the public didn't recognise what they were being told. The elite were "out of touch" with the public and the concept of "metropolitan elite" was born to describe this out of touch elite who spun reality and in blunt public parlance tried to "polish a turd".

Then along comes the new head of Labour policy, true to the spirit of the age and the "new politics" and tells it like it is, as the people always saw it

“the most abject collection of absolute shite”

The people were first taken aback by a politician full of honesty telling it like it is, but then said that they like this "new politics" as it is telling the truth at last, the way the people always saw it.

Labour members had enough of what Labour's new head of policy saw and voted Corbyn in with 59.7% of the vote against the advice of all of the members of the "most abject collection of absolute shite" they had ever seen.

It was a revolution, the start of the "new politics".

And now the headline in the Independent is

"Jeremy Corbyn faces backlash after political adviser Andrew Fisher describes Ed Miliband's cabinet as a 'collection of s'

But backlash from whom? Not the public who are in total agreement with Labour's new policy head and who don't understand what the fuss with telling the truth is. The backlash is from the "most abject collection of absolute shite" but as Christine Keeler would have said "they would do that, wouldn't they?"

"Get over yourself! We are in a new age of "straight talking honest politics" and Labour have a new head of policy and the days of spin are over."

"The days of spin are over."

"The days of spin are over."

"The days of spin are over."

All hail claigs brave new world where it tries to find the story to fit the current political script/mantra its working on.

And then please meet Mr Corbyn's 'Champagne Socialist' new spin doctor.

"Jeremy Corbyn's 'Marxist-sympathising' spin doctor sent his children to elite grammar schools instead of nearer comprehensives"
www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3287882/Jeremy-Corbyn-s-Marxist-sympathising-spin-doctor-sent-children-elite-grammar-schools-instead-nearer-comprehensives.html

• Seumas Milne was appointed Jeremy Corbyn's communications chief

• Milne, 57, lives in a £2 million house in Richmond, south west London

• He sent his children to the Tiffin School in Kingston-upon-Thames

• There were four closer comprehensive schools to his home than Tiffin

Priceless.

Is it only the "most abject collection of absolute shite" who are allowed to live in million pound homes and send their children to grammar schools or even private schools as many of the "most abject collection" do?

Get over yourself! We are in a new age of "straight talking honest politics", "the most abject collection of absolute shite" have gone (although a few still remain in place) and the days of spin are over.

claig .... I'll reiterate my points further above.

"Miliband took the Labour Party further to the left than Brown (based on his 2010 GE manifesto) and Corbyn is looking to take it further."

"And taking it further would mean a LARGER State than before, with even less understanding of how the Private Sector/Business that pays for it, works."

"In other words, it is the ideology/model that sucks a big one, so hard for any Labour individuals to ever really shine."

"Straight talking, honest politics" will be when a party, Old or New, that ideologically will always want high government spending, no cuts and THEREFORE much higher taxation - comes CLEAN on those tax rises to the MASSES before a General Election.

Admittedly the Tories didn't on Tax Credits, other than say £12 billion would be cut from Welfare before the last election.

Brown from 1997 to 2010 never did, Miliband in 2015 who said they'd be 'less cuts more taxes' than the other parties never did - and now Old McDonnell when asked how HE'D balance the UK books current £70 billion government overspend - reels off a few ideological tax rises i.e. Inheritance Tax and the top rate of tax back to 50p, which will raise relative £££ peanuts.

The day a socialist government tells the masses to PAY for our plans only meaningful rises in the likes of the basic rate of income tax and National Insurance has going UP will pay for it, and/or lose jobs/investment by keeping milking small, medium and large businesses - THAT will be both straight talking and honest, and there is no sign of it yet and I wager never will be as 'Turkey's don't ever vote for Christmas'.

claig ... 'Straight talking' Corbyn's policy chie Andrew Fisher is so 'in touch' with the people, he tells them NOT to vote Labour.

”Corbyn's policy chief could get booted out of the Labour party after urging voters to back anarchists Class War at the Election”
www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3290991/Corbyn-s-policy-chief-booted-Labour-party-urging-voters-anarchists-Class-War-Election.html

• Andrew Fisher is being investigated after telling voters to back Class War
• As Jeremy Corbyn's hard Left policy chief, he is now facing expulsion
• Mr Fisher, who once worked for RMT, has also offended MPs with tweets.

Based on what the Daily Mail reported him saying, it sounds like he spoke truth to power and the shower didn't like it.

They've only gone and suspended him, tried to silence the one bit of hope that someone up there among the shower agrees with the people and wants change

"He also described Labour frontbenchers before the election as 'vile', 'racist', 'w*ers' and collectively 'the most abject collection of complete sh**e'."

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3307225/Corbyn-s-policy-chief-SUSPENDED-Labour-party-telling-people-vote-anarchists-general-election.html

Where now for the "new politics" if the same old shower of can suspend the one lonely beacon of truth among the mire and parade of puppets for hire? To what now can the people aspire?
