The Cult Of Farage - Hero's Welcome In the US

They love him in the States just like we do here!

"Nigel Farage was among his fans in the US.

"He's awesome and cool," 20-year-old Alain Robert told Sky News.

Political writer Randy Foreman was even more gushing saying the UKIP leader had all the appeal of James Bond.

"He's absolutely a fantastic politician. We just don't have them here like that in the United States."

We don't have 'em like that here, apart from the legend that is Farage

"Mr Farage's YouTube videos berating European bureaucrats and taking on the might of Westminster have made him something of a cult figure on the right of American politics.

So organisers of the biggest political event of the year for US conservatives, the Conservative Political Action Conference just outside Washington DC, invited him this year instead of a British conservative politician - a break with tradition."

There are no British Conservative politicians left. They are all a progressive Oxbridge joke, the People's Army will free us from their PPE yoke.

It is a shame Farage wasn't born in the States because they'd make him President without a doubt. I guess we're lucky that he is UK only, so that he will be PM here one day.

A stunt for a revival of The Producers saw scantily-clad women in Nazi uniforms outside the Margate venue for UK Independence Party (UKIP) spring conference today.

Michael Crick asks if the party itself is in need of a revival

Nigel Farage travels to Washington to address a near-empty room

By the time the UKIP leader took the stage at CPAC, Washington's annual conservative conference, most of the delegates had already departed

---

It was a long way to come to address a near-empty room: Nigel Farage flew into Washington on Thursday night to speak at America’s leading annual conference for hardcore conservatives, but when his turn came, there was hardly anyone left to listen.

Handed a graveyard speaking slot by conference organisers, Mr Farage addressed an audience of 250 people in a convention centre ballroom with a capacity of over 5,000.

'Ha ha! The 'progressives' in question:'

Why do youthink the Tories have lost the support of at least 1 in 5 former Tory voters?

It is because they are Oxbridge metropolitan elite luvvies i.e progressives and not real Tories.

Why do you think the American conservatives invited Farage over to address the US movers and shakers and not a British conservative? It is because they don't like the metropolitan elite luvvie progressives either and want to hear the real deal - Farage.

"He's absolutely a fantastic politician. We just don't have them here like that in the United States."

"A stunt for a revival of The Producers"

This just shows how over the top the Establishment is in its fear of the People's Army. They know it's over, they know the people are wise to their tricks.

'Michael Crick asks if the party itself is in need of a revival'

The liberals are desperate, they are fooling themselves that the people have been put back in their box. They haven't. Farage is keeping a low profile because the people are not interested in the election campaign yet with the pink vans and all the rest of the guff. Farage will emerge when the time is right and grasp victory from the claws of the elite, the luvvies, the metropolitan elite and the progressives. The US Conservatives understand that and that is why they invited the rising star Farage to the States and not the progressives from the Conservative party.

'By the time the UKIP leader took the stage at CPAC, Washington's annual conservative conference, most of the delegates had already departed '

I think this may be due to a combination of factors. The conference may have overrun on time and I think there may have been happy hour at the bar by the time Farage strode onto the platform. However 250 of the most important US movers and shakers remained glued to their seats to hear what the British rising star - Farage - had to tell them. I don't blame them, I would have done the same!

The metropolitan elite are organising as many webchats with metropolitan luvvie politicians as they can fit in. They don't invite the people's party. But it doesn't matter because we are the people and we will shake the system and its hangers-on to the core. The UKIP earthquake isn't over, it's only just begun. Watch their faces on election ight, listen to the Oxbridge commentators when their mates are voted out. It's going to be historic. They know it's over.

''Michael Crick asks if the party itself is in need of a revival'

Are they having a laugh? Have they not witnessed the shock on the faces of the metropolitan elite when they hear that Farage is about to address the people on some village green or in some pub in one of their "safe constituencies'? Have they not heard reports from their undercover Bullingdon buddies disguised as the people with taxpayer funded elocution lessons in mockney as they attend village green speeches by Farage - the scourge of the luvvies?

Have they not been told how deafening the jeers and abuse was when the villagers were shown images of leading metropolitan elite figures in the warmup before Farage began to speak? Have they not heard how primary school children shouted "liar, cheat, scoundrel" at some of the most eminent Lords and luvvies in the land? Have they not heard of the copious amounts of alcohol consumed and the joyous jubilation when Farage finished off his speech and foretold how he would finish off the elites, liars and cheats?

They're desperate. There are no depths to which they will not stoop. They have got their best, most cunning, Oxbridge teenage spin doctors and think tank teenagers on the case. They have no shame, they are beyond disgrace, they fear the People's Army will put them in their place.

Now there are "joint webchats" as they almost join in unison, in quasi coalition against the people's volition. It's desperate, but it's too late, the victory of the People's Army draws ever nearer.

They said the people and Farage were finished, that we have peaked and are in decline, but Farage told them on the village green "rumours of my demise are greatly exaggerated" and you should have heard the cheers of the people, seen the jigs and japes of the elderly, the skipping and singing of the young. They said the people's revolution is over, but from what I saw, it's only just begun.

The "peoples army" were protesting today outside the conference.

Supporting UKIP were Britain First amongst others. Sad

I should have known Claig started this...

When Louise Brown got acquitted, my cousin complained about cheering Brits: she'd seen footage of the pub in LB's home village cheering and assumed that was the whole UK reaction.

I've just checked my hometown newspaper; I can't begin to explain how free-market anti-Obama the paper and city are. Military international top 10 for size in USA, Republicans gather there for National conventions one yr in 3. The only coverage of Farage is AP press wires, about things like breastfeeding comments & Al Murray. Big welcome my Ass.

Indeed. I'm American and a news junkie. This was so far below the radar in the US that I learned about it on MN.

'Supporting UKIP were Britain First amongst others'

Lumpy, please look into conspiracy theory to understand how the world really works. Britain First are given publicity in order to try and discredit UKIP. Today we had PEGIDA in Newcastle. PEGIDA will also be used to try and discredit UKIP and even to discredit the battle against TTIP, since the German set up PEGIDA are also against TTIP.

The elite are petrified of UKIP because they are against TTIP, against the climate change scam and will scrap the elite's Climate Change Act as well as leaving the elite's EU. They have to try and discredit UKIP because otherwise they know their whole game is up. But it is not working, they are failing.

ragged and RhoticSpeaker you are right about ordinary Americans not being interested in Farage and why shoud they be. Most of them are not interested in Cameron either and priobably don't know who he is and they are right because t them he is irrelevant. America is a huge power and Cameron and Farage are mere minnows.

But US political conservatives, Republicans etc like Sarah Palin and so on all know Farage and all like him because he is one of them, not a progressive like Jeb Bush. They like Farage. But he is not on the radar of ordinary US voters.

But Farage goes down a storm on Fox News because they like a straight talking guy rather than a mealy mouthed progressive.

There are elections all over Europe coming up and the elite are petrified of their parties losing. That is why we hear about tiny groups like Britain First and the newly created PEGIDA. As soon as the elections are all out of the way, they will disappear from public news.
