Possible exchange tomorrow, so moving date next Friday (possibly). Will have to sort removals men etc. Stomach all knotted, and am finding it hard to sleep with stressing about moving and the business with FIL.

LTSF - praying for good news on the move today and peace of mind.

Here, DD has started at specialist education unit just for 1 hour a day. Done 2 days so far and has come home absolutely exhausted each day. I hope this is not too much for her.

Well its been confirmed that I definitely am not going to get an interview for that job. So am not very happy.

Sorry to hear that Mary, but be assured that God has a better plan for you. Prayers that you will soon know what they may be.

Update on the other thread about Dizzy - she has had a cervical stitch put in, sounds like she and the babies are doing ok and she hopes to be home at the weekend. Thank you all for praying about this

oh Mary soo sorry.

dd had her op today all well so now the physio to go to hopefully get full use of her arm back.

Pray that the next 10 days of intense physio goes well and that i manage to spin whichever plate needs spinning the most urgently.

I sincerely hope she does nsfn - keep us updated.

nsfn - praying for your dd and your plate spinning. I think that is one of the best summaries of parenthood I have heard. I will pinch that for RL, if you don't mind!

Mary - feel for you, but am praying hard that the Lord clearly illuminates the path He has chosen for you.

CD - praying hard. You are always really cheerful and uplifting for me on this thread, praying that the Lord shines His light really brightly into your dark place, so you can see the faces of those you love, and who love you.

After much to-ing and fro-ing we finally exchanged at 4 o'clock today (sigh of relief). However completion is next Friday (stressed face back on). Managed to book a removals company to fully pack for us as well, so the weekend will be full of sorting, and throwing stuff away that has accumulated over the last 9 years.

Am now feeling as this was the first house we bought together, and it holds all the important memories for us so far, getting married, children born etc. And I am very to be leaving behind some stalwart neighbours who have been absolute bricks, allowing me to turn up on their doorsteps in tears at 10 at night with a screaming baby!

But new house will be a place to make more important memories (possibly new babies?! ) and new stalwart neighbours, and allow me to become a stalwart myself! Hopefully. Why is it that at times like this I feel about 12 yo again, and impossibly naive and immature??

dd spent the night back in recovery as she needed monitoring because she was shaking so much - not sure whether it was all the trauma or whether it was a reaction to co codamol. wont be able to go see her till this eve and by then maybe she will be ready to come home.

Today i need the motivation to get this house sorted a little before the day turns manic with more plate spinning from 3 o'clock on.

Hia everybody, I posted on the last thread about my sister's MIL. Just thought I'd update you on her progress.

She had a fall, which resulted in brain fractures and swelling. During the ensuing CAT scan they found two brain tumours. Now they have discovered that she also has non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. She probably only got it 6 weeks ago, but is now very ill. She started chemotherapy today, without it she probably wouldn't have more than a month left.

Could anybody please say a prayer for Diane, and also her son, who is obviously very stressed dealing with all of this by himself (he is an only child, and his father died some years ago). My sister and her fiance have now brought their wedding forward from June to October (5 weeks time) in the hope that Diane will be able to attend.

LTSF - thanks for your lovely prayer. CD, I do keep trusting, but its me I lack faith in, not God. I sometimes think I'm not quite getting the message, which is why I'm going for jobs that I perhaps shouldn't be going for.

I'm taking Evensnog on Sunday, just spoke to vicar, and he asked me if I'd do it. At least its more notice than last time (20 mins notice is all I got!). Funnily enough, its Holy Cross day, and I did evensnog last year on that day, vicar says I can use the same reading as no-one will remember (but I bet they will!)
