Just thought i would let everyone who sent a positive vibe/prayer for my mum's big move.

It has gone surprisingly well until today and she won't eat or take her tablets and through a teaspoon at one of the staff .

She needs to be humoured. worried staff will not understand alzheimers like the other home. My elderly father is made up being able to see her everyday. Making a big difference to his life.

i have so much going on exhausted by it all.
I don't want them to lose patients with her and it is rotten not being near. Say a prayer for her please. thanks

Alzheimers is so tough, because it erodes the whole personality. Praying for you that the staff will have every patience with her, that she will settle soon and calm down. Pray for understanding for your father, who has 'lost' his wife in every sense without actually losing her and being able to move on. Praying for God's blessing for you today.

I wondered how the move had gone.

Sending good vibes for your mum to relax a little and start to feel at home soon.

I should think staff in the home will be familiar with people taking time to settle and won't be upset by it. It's nice that your dad is feeling so happy.
