'c'mon daddy'

my late dh, dd's daddy, has been gone almost 5 years. dd is 2 the week after next. I know it doesn't add up, I had fertility treatment .

She seems to have been seeing things alot lately and I get a sense that dh is around a lot especially when we're at the dinner table eating lol .

We were out in the grden most of today and she has a pop up tunnel. She kept going back and forth and then she started saying come on daddy over and over. She gets that from me and often says 'mummy c'mon'. Then she started saying hello daddy. Now, maybe she has just picked this up from nursery but it was very out of the blue and I don't think i've mentioned him today. It was very heartwarming but sad at the same time as I know she'll probably grow out of it. Anyway, just thought i'd share.

DelGirl...

nothing really to add except sometimes kids do see things that adults don't. i'm not saying that the ghost of your dh is around, i don't even believe in "ghosts" per se; just wanted to say - you're a very brave woman, to choose to bring up your dd on your own, and you sound like you're doing a fabulous job.

must be such a tear in emotions for you, but i would say it would be very heartwarming.

Well my mum always says that babies play with angels so it s very likely imo that he is playing with his little girl.
