does anyone believe that everything happens for a reason and that everything is all mapped out for us? I have had a tough few months and i would like to believe in this

to belive in fate is to belive that our lifes is already mapped out for us thus taking away the free will i do belive that things happen for a reason but not to the point of our lifes being mapped out i belive our life is one long road with lots of turn ofs for every decsion we make we turn of the road but life has a way of putting you back on your path

If I had a dime for every time I read my horoscope, considered seeing a clairvoyant or simply tried to make sense of the sometimes hard situations that we are often forced to face it is hard not to believe or want to believe in fate-I believe that we have free will and that perhaps the only being that knows our eventually outcome will be GOD if you believe in one, I believe that there are always things that we learn from every challenge-things that make us stronger that help us should we face those challenges again-there is a saying is there not what does not break you will make you stronger-no road is ever totally straight but have faith in yourself and in what you are capable of and you will always meet lifes ups and downs without doubting yourself

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't, it depends if the situation I am analising is good or bad, for example I believe that DH and me were meant for each other but I honestly believe that it is not suposed to be in my "fate" to follow him around the world for his job. It's a mere Phoebe Buffay's aproach to it .

Having said that, I believe that if you really want something and you believe it will happen, given time it will. However as my father says, "be careful with what you wish as you may get it!!"
