I was wondering if the godparents have to be at the rehearsal? we finally got our last godparent but he's away on the rehearsal.

We never had a rehearsal. I'm sure it'll be fine. Can you email/ring the church to check?

I'm going to phone them first thing but the godparent is asking now. I'm sure they should be fine. at least we're having the traditional 2 male and 1 female.

surely they know that people are allowed to go on holiday

I've never known of a rehearsal for a baptism. What denomination is your church (I ask, out of purely idle curiosity)?
Anyway, am sure it shouldn't matter if the godparent is away - I'm sure all will still be fine.

I'm going to sound stupid but I actually don't know.

I phoned them up the next day and they went that's fine as long as I'm there and dp with my son and the other Godparents we can tell him what he's got to do.
