Having just had a mind blowing chat with Gothic mama, about a coincidence and seeing it action together. We would like to learn more about aligning misaligned chakras.

As I know that is level one reiki . So oh developed masters out there, please help us.

Any particular chakra you want to realign?

You can do crystal realignment - putting the relevent crystal on the chakra area

To do it just through reiki alone, you need a reiki therapist who's 'tuned in to their heling energy' (or thats what the book says).

hi Melsy, how are you today? Once got a book out of library about chakras, something about having about 9 centres where energy is chanelled and if one is blocked it can cause problems? (just wanted to check this is what it is before I start talking a load of rubbish on the subject)....do you have to read a book to be able to this...sounds fascinating

I've killed this thread for some reason, please don't stop talking about this, if you still want too

hi there, sorry have not replied has been a busy weekend - but pleasantly so, lots of family things...DS's first rugby training, parties, crazy golf....
so here goes.....
to realign chakras using reiki you need to have received the reiki attumentents and even then if you give a full body treatment the energy will go first to where it is needed, so it will probably work on realigning the chakras but if there is an area of greater need the energy will flow there first. What we perceive as our area of need is not always the true area of greatest need. (Although physical symptoms are usually linked to un-aligned chakras or related body parts...)
What I usually do when treating somebody is help the process by using crystals and wobblynicks has kindly listed the ones to focus on or colours. So focus on the following colours or try to wear the colour at the related area...(some people even say increase your food intake of the related colour)
red - base
orange - below navel
yellow - solar plexus
green/rose - centre of chest/heart
blue - throat
indigo - third eye (bit hard to wear it here)
violet/white - crown of head
The other thing I do and can't remember if this is self taught or from a course is visualise the chakras inside spinning at a uniform speed - if they are spinning too fast the result is physical or emotional problems - eg solar plexus when stressed (my usual one) or underworking of organs if too slow - feeling sluggish eg thyroid problems...
so...... I try to realign them by visually regulating them, focusing on and wearing related colours and crystals....
HTH and makes sense....

can i ask what a chakra is?

BTW knowing which one is out of line is the tricky bit....

somebody may be able to explain it better but there are meant to be 7 chakras (sanskrit word for wheel) inside us at the points listed below. The invisible area where the chakras are located spin or vibrate at a higher frequency than their corresponding physical part of the body. They should spin at a uniform speed but if external factors cause them to spin too fast or slow it will result in physical illness. e.g stress affects the adrenals which affects the solar plexus chakra which spins too fast which gives you stomach problems....
Does that make sense???
