I want to know how you go about finding a medium/card reader/fortune teller type person

I say "don't go there!". It's usually a complete waste of money cause most of them are frauds; if you do manage to find a real one, they'll tell you something you're better off not knowing. Truly.

It's not actually for me (although am undecided about the whole thing myself). I've had my cards read once and although it meant nothing at the time, the bits I remember could have some relationship to things that are happening. I don't know if you just read what you want into these things though or it they are 'real'??

I agree.

The cards are only there as guidance. NOT to definitely tell you one way or another what will happen.

That's not possible b/c our own actions affect that, naturally.

LOL, Like I said I'm split over it.. I work in IT and am not religious veryu much the 'you make you're own decisions, decisions have consequences' type person but I'm inquisitive and can't help wondering/sitting on the fence.

i've gone to a couple of mind body & soul fairs and had cards done there....but still take it with a pinch of salt - spookily accurate on some stuff m, but way out on others...just a bit of interesting fun for me..believe in some spiritual/ spooky/ wierd stuff - like to keep an open mind....go on recommendation - or look in yellow pages!!

Try your local spiritualist church, or word of mouth. I had a recent tarot card reading via a flyer through the door. Pure chance ..... or was it?! It was brilliant and I recommended her to a couple of friends, one of whom had a reading over the phone. They both thought she was great.

One of the things she told me was how unhappy I was in my job, how I had all sorts of skills I wasn't using and was really accurate about how I was feeling. She was spot on and there's no way she could have known that. She went on to tell me not to worry that I'd be changing jobs. Three weeks later I had a phone call out of the blue from our Senior Manager asking me if I wanted to move to another unit.
